If you tried tekken and found the learning process to be kind of painful in the intermediate stages, know that VF is the exact opposite. It might have one of the smoothest learning experiences of any fighting game, you always know what you need to focus on next.
Happy to see that finally a prpper VF is coming to PC and even with rollback. Still i also waiting for a VF Collection and of course VF6, which is overdue since at least 10 years...
I've come to believe that scrubs and complaints of "cheap" came to be because most FGs don't bother to make players *want* to find the counter. I'll take a Tekken example: >get cheesed by a move >evaluate rules and parameters: it's linear. Figure out the counter: sidestep and punish. >the moment comes, finally set it in motion >get clipped by the hitbox anyway >lose like a chump It's an extreme example, but I'm using it to illustrate that VF is, I think, the only FG that actually commits to following its stated rules. SF2 had a lot of BS and brokenness, but what made it blow up in the first place, I think, was that *every level of play* highlighted the meta. The process alone of thinking and figuring out a counter was immediately rewarding at a casual level, and VF, paradoxically, is the game that understands this more than any other.
@@joshuawoodard6998 Gameplay is what I was talking about. How can it be perfect by stripping interesting things away from the mechanics? That is what FS did to VF and I'm hoping there'll be more than just character balance changes.
Unless I'm totally blind, the tutorial does not point out the triangle nor explain any of its constituent parts. A lightbulb just went off. I'll internalize this later today when I hit the beta again. Thanks a lot.
So far, all Sega has confirmed is that the balance adjustments will come to PS4. Presumably so both of them are "current". If we allow ourselves some hope, it would make sense they will also bring the Rollback netcode to PS4, but they have not commented on that yet. I assume we will get more news either when right before REVO releases or shortly after.
the VF triangle is deadlier than the bermuda triangle, pls stay safe friends

This version is different. They added new moves and rebalanced existing moves.

Hey juice, will you ever put out more KOF XIII content in the future?
💖💖💖💖
VIRTUA FIGHTER IS THE SHIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!
You should have mentioned the Yakuza and judgment games, they are the only way to play to play VF5 on pc right now
Juicebox!? now that is a name i haven't heard of in a long time...
I love FS. It's bittersweet to see US essentially end that version of the game. I hope R.E.V.O./2.0 does not botch an already near perfect game.
It's not perfect. I hope there will be system mechanic changes otherwise it'll be a let down.
@@atuls55 Gameplay wise it's perfect. Design, and sound need an overhaul. The mechanics are 10/10.

@@atuls55 You don't have a clue. 😂
@@joshuawoodard6998 They dumbed the game down and in Japan the one place VF was successful the playerbase fell off during FS's release.

Thanks
Hope it has quest mode!!!!!
The Juice is Loose
Surprise Juicebox upload.
So is it going to look any different? Or just the same game with balance adjustments?
Was that a actual Naked Dummy you beat up in training!?
soon! I'll be honing my koenkan till then! I hope it's cross platform.
I just reinstalled yakuza to play virtua fighter on pc
Theres always more juice left in tbe box
It was my understanding that the PS4/PS5 version would be upgraded to the REVO version for free when it comes out... Isn't that right?

The VF triangle? Isn’t this rock paper scissors logic true for literally every single fighting game?
Great video!
