When you know exactly what you want in a property, know your exact budget, but don’t bother to check to see if they’re compatible = these two. You could see a really young couple doing something like that, but at their age, wow.
I love the second house when you retire you need to downside or you will be cleaning all day again what for.
I love that last one and they truly need to get their act together and realize it is awesome for the money... are you kidding me , it is never big enough!
For 8 people?? Where would everyone sleep? The size they seem to be looking for would cost them at least half a million!
Thanks for the video. I always find it interesting with shows like yours is what people want with various amounts of money and what they end up buying or not buying.
I was surprised that they were so excited by the traditional house that had almost NO windows. 😖
Just don't get why they asked for 2 bedrooms when they want to bring 6 people over, 8 including themselves. Makes no sense.
I had a friend who had 10 brothers and sisters. They were Irish. If they went on a vacation they could only afford 1 room. Her saying was it’s a room for 2 or 14 Irish!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

They are crazy. Never go over budget. Suck it up and compromise. The second one had everything and with the extra money they could have done it up a little.
How many times a year do they think family will be coming to visit. Most of the time they will be by themselves. These people want champagne on a beer budget. Silly persons.
Wanted the Tahj Mahal on a trailer park budget, and change.

What do they want for a measly little hundred thousand pounds.Think of perhaps a garage somewhere in England.!! All the properties they have seen are lovely .
All these Brits want to feel like they’re living a Spanish life yet none seem to have started learning Spanish! They say they want to be in a typical Spanish village yet haven’t even started learning the language! Ifind that interesting!
I know - it’s ridiculous 😀 No Brits ever integrate into Spanish society. I already spoke Spanish when I moved to Madrid and had only Spanish friends, so I became completely fluent in a year and also lost my accent. Brits seem to want to live in their own bubble, with British food, British friends and colleagues - just more sunshine!

Absolutely, they should spend their time on editing them out so that we won't have to spend a few seconds jumping forward. I also had to make my own cuppa whilst watching which is unacceptable.

The second house was not good for all those saying it was. Location is everything and it was 30 mins away from the coast! For their budget the last one was the best, or the first one.
Sell the house in the UK, buy a 1 bed and use the extra in Spain.
Have a mini budget and maxi ideas.

The first place was on another "A Place In the Sun". No wonder I like the place.
Actually, I think it is not exactly the same house but must be in the same development...very, very similar.
They want a mansion for the price stay where you are
What a waste of everyone's time. As a real estate met millions of these type of buyers, and here in Australia we call them tyre kickers. They never do research just tell you they'll know it when they see it.
This translates to we want a property (right on the top of the mountain, on the beachfront, Mayfair in London, or overlooking Central Park in New York with 10 bedrooms, 6 reception rooms and a live in butler. The agent starts to salivate thinking of the commission they will make only for the deluded couple to seriously tell them their budget is $90,000 but if they find one that ticks every box they will pay $95,000.
A new and naive agent will start looking for them despite knowing this is la la land and five years later will still see the couple out looking for their dream home!!! I would eventually say well you must have enough vendor statements now to wallpaper Buckingham Palace so you'll save some money on decorating.
Most of them are so deluded they don't realise the joke.

I actually liked this couple and can see that they do want Spain rather than expat. The woman didn't have a clue. They didn't want a ticky tacky expat box. They should have done more homework and looked somewhere else. That townhouse would cost them about 75-120k€ around here right now. Of course we have no sea and no expats!

They were a bit dim, but she was dimmer. They don't want a Costa Box! They are just starting out on the journey.. I like to think they learned the languagee and found what they wantedf.

omg this couple drives me crazy.. if you want than dont stress the agent with I want to live in a typical spanish home but not in a spanish area.. these people need to go home and stay in Britian, find something there.. glad I am not a realistate agent for them, I would have walked away and gotten another to show them properties...

Too many developments means future higher costs and fewer affordable properties.

why do the agents always wear such impractical shoes? its a constant fear of them falling the entire time its hard to watch lol you can be comfortable and show houses most people don't care as long as you look like you know what you're doing and not look homeless hahaha so jeans a nice shirt some tennis shoes? i'd rather see a practically dressed real estate agent than someone dressed impractically for where they are!

These people are annoying as hell. If this is what real estate agents have to deal with, I feel bad for them. They earn every penny. How on earth can you show them the perfect house with a giant backyard the size of six flags water park, and they go "ewww the living room is sorta small PASS!"

I like the couple, a real estate agent is responsible for identifying the need and conveying if their budget meets their expectations. The agent was rude.
I didn't think she was rude...they wanted something they couldn't afford. She tried.
Rebecca Gable I completely agree. They want a home to fit 8 people, at the sea, for a budget that might have gotten them what they want 20 years ago. The agent did amazing to find them a few that would have been perfect for a realistic couple.
@@wipqueen715 I live here. I only use Spanish agents. This woman is just trying to sell them a tacky exprat box. They made it clear they wanted to be in a Spanish place and she didn't show them anywhere. Because they Only sell to exprats! At vastly inflated prices. My Spanish agent listened to me, he knows what I want and he has found me a place for 38K. This woman is a gonk.

@@lizardas I’m a completely fluent Spanish speaker myself, after 4 years of living and working in Madrid. I get more irritated over the fact that the presenters can’t pronounce the names of the locations propertly - Tenereef, Lansarottee, Costa Caleeda, Mou - hakka…

Stopped at the first property because I remember I have seen these two before and they are time wasters
Honestly, this couple is quite irritating... They have a low budget (100K) and expect everything as if they could afford it: Near the coast, near the shops, with Spanish character, etc., etc. Find out what you want BEFORE you embark on a search, write down the pros and cons, but don't say you want one thing and, when it is presented to you, don't say: Oh, no, but we want this or that. Save the right money for your search, then go on your trip to find it.
