Really well done. You covered all the basics of setting up this particular hammock, including setting up a ridge line, and showed the knots you use for making this easy. This information can be useful for setting up just about any hammock shelter system. Great job.
I like your detailed instructions. I just bought an El dorado with the strap suspension system, a yeti under quilt , and a Minifly tarp. I am waiting for it to be delivered. The minifly is on backorder so that is what is holding up the shipment. Anyway, I decided to purchase it because my body/back just cannot take the ground anymore. I don't sleep well at all. I spoke to hikers with hammocks and they said it was a more comfortable sleep. So I am excited to try it out. My backyard has plenty of trees so I can practice putting it up.
Your new sleep system is fantastic. I love my Warbonnet. I had the same problem tent camping. I could not get a good night's sleep. My back and hips would get sore. I switched to a hammock and the problem is solved. Thank you for commenting.
It takes some practice, but you will finally figure out what works best for your comfort. Just a few tweaks here and there will make a big difference. It took me several camping trips to figure out what works best for me.
Great video and very detailed. Question... do you ever test your ridgeline... looks too tight, the straps are not 30-35 degrees. I have the same set-up. I found using a continuous ridgeline on the tarp works best and makes it very easy / fast to pitch. Also... I set the tarp up first.
It probably is a little tight. There is some slack in the ridgeline. I can grip it with a closed fist and and bend it some, but not a lot. Thanks for commenting.
Does it bother anyone else that Warbonnet has a logo of a Native American with a Native American head dress and it's owned by a white man? I bought an underquilt from this company and when I saw the logo I had to send it back and they charged me a 20% restocking fee but I could not stomach the cultural appropriation by this company.
This was very helpful. I have a basic hammock and am researching the Warbonnet Blackbird. Probably the best hammock video I have seen. Subscribed.

I really do appreciate the comment.
No thanks needed. It was really my pleasure.

Hello
Feet higher than your head....good way to wake up with a splitting headache
Not true, with feet higher than head you lay with a flat back
