    Rebuilt my current gaming/editing system into the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo case with EKWB Reflection2 distro plate and Velocity2 CPU block. With a gaming load the GPU runs between 45-50c and CPU at 50-55c using only one 360 radiator.
    PC specs:
    AMD 5900x with EKWB Velocity2 water block
    ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming MB
    32Gb G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600 C16 RAM
    ASUS ROG Strix 3080 10Gb with EKWB Quantum Vector water block
    Corsair RM1000x PSU with custom Cablemod cables
    Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO Case with EKWB Reflection2 distro plate
    EKWB Nickel Torque Fittings, 16mm PETG tubes
    EKWB Coolstream PE 360 Radiator
    EKWB Mystic Fog coolant
    Lian Li SL120 Uni Infinity Fans

    Hey mate, I assume you used some sort of RGB hub for all the EKWB rbg cables? or did you have enough rgb headers on your motherboard?

      I used a EKWB rbg splitter cable for the EK parts and the Lian Li uni fans all run off 1 uni fan controller

    I am currently working on a build like this myself. And when I got my FTW 3080 in I noticed that there was no way I could run a straight line to the inlet and outlet. What fittings are you using to get yours lined up? Also did you use push in fittings for the top radiator? If so how in the world did you get them in?

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@xThree65x I used a combination of angled and offset EK fittings to get the gpu pipes lined up with the distro. I could only use one push in fitting for the top rad as it was the only one that lined up. FTW 3080? RIP evga :( and probably RIP EK

    Did you use 2 Coolstream PE 360 Radiators? I can see 2 rads in there.

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, I only use 1 PE 360 radiator mounted in the top. I was actually going to install a slim 360 radiator in the bottom as well but my flow indicator is in the way. GPU temp is 45-50c and CPU is 50-55c under gaming load so it works fine.

    I notice you have a collar around that Distro plate, Is that something custom? I am debating on just drilling a hole in the glass on my build. Thanks

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Collar? The distro is stock from EKWB, no drilling required.

    • @jeffstrains4014
      @jeffstrains4014 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I looked at that wrong, I thought you had a custom gromet if you will around that distro block to use in place of glass. I have that same block and am getting a company cut me a piece of glass drill a hole and temper it so I can leave the the drain in @@ShiftdModz

      @@jeffstrains4014 ah right, im not using the front panel glass where the distro is as I'm using one of the external ports on the distro for the drain valve as its way easier to use than the one on the inside

    I am just about to build one, for the side, is there any space to mount another radiator on the back ? I am thinking of a 360mm rad. Or 3 fans is enough?

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you can fit a 360 rad on that side mount. But if you mount a rad and fans to the top then it will be a bit tight but can work.

  • @chrisvfit
    @chrisvfit ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm looking forward to buy the same fans, but I see that the center of the fans is wobbly 3:52, 3:59. It appears like that only on video, or is it real?

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When the fans are running low speed like sub 1000rpm then they wobble a bit but they don't wobble when they speed up.

    Sick build bro! I have an o11 evo also and looking to do a similar build. What all fittings did you use to get this beast up and running? This will be my 1st custom loop and just trying to learn everything. Thanks. :)

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Cheers mate. All the fittings are EK quantum torque and if you don't want to do any bends then generally each port will require a 90 degree fitting. I tried to use just push-in adapters for the radiator but the old coolstream rad doesn't line up exactly with the reflection2 distro. I also had to use some offset fittings for the vector1 gpu block for the same reason. Spend the time to research out what fittings you think you need and get spares is all I can say 👍

    • @ShiftdModz

    • @ShiftdModz

      Not really sure but high probability it will be fine. I'm using a EK 360 PE rad at the top with fans which is the thick 40mm rad and it clears the MB. There is space to install a single 120 exhaust fan but I just chose not to install it

    EKWB system configurator says my ASUS RTX4090 TUF won't fit in my Lian Li Dynamic Evo Case... I've seen them installed out of the box, let alone the size reduction you get from pulling that phat cooler off and strapping it into a EK Quantum Vector block..

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are going to put a block on the 4090 then it will fit in anything. But I will say, the regular 011d evo case is smaller and tighter than I thought. Would go the XL case if I could do it again.

    Quick question; How many degrees of temperature difference between this open loop and an aio?

    • @ShiftdModz
      @ShiftdModz  ปีที่แล้ว

      A CPU 360 aio will keep the CPU a couple of degrees cooler than this loop as it's only cooling the CPU whereas this loop is cooling both the CPU and GPU.

    What is the point of water cooling if there is only one radiator for both the processor and the video card. The main thing is to be beautiful and don't care about the temperature

    Что врать, жидкостная система охлаждения на трубках выглядит красиво. Но есть недостаток. Вот захочешь поменять термопасту и всю эту красоту необходимо сливать и раскручивать, а потом обратно скручивать и заливать жидкость, да так чтобы ни где не протекало. Очень не практично!

      I'm not using a bottom radiator so I bypassed one of the outlets. A bottom radiator was a little tight and this build only needs one radiator anyway. Both CPU and GPU run around 50c when gaming
