Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed in 2016 by YG Entertainment. it consists of 4 members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose. they are the biggest girl group in the world right now and are considered apart of the Kpop(Korean pop) genre that is extremely popular right now. Each girl trained between 4-6 years before they debuted so they are really talented in the art of singing, dancing, rapping etc also each girl can speak between 3-5 languages along with being fashion icons they are global ambassadors for major brands like Dior, Cline, YSL, and Chanel. One thing I love about Blackpink is when they on their own show most of the time they use live band... I love the sound of the real drum and others instruments go along together. It's hard to see in S.korea pop group lately a lot of them use studio backing tracks.

She is the oldest, and has lived in South Korea her whole life. The girl who purred in the beginning (lmao) is Jennie, and she is from New Zealand. The girl who rapped first in the very beginning is Lisa the youngest, and she is Thai.

It was this video reaction that I found you. I then backtracked several months ago and started watching your Home Free reactions, working my way towards current date.
Before you get too far into the music watch their documentary on Netflix titled "Light Up The Sky". It will give you so much insight into them and their music. I'm pretty positive the entire film is on TH-cam but some of the subtitles appear at awkward times, as well as some small clips are inserted at random points in order to avoid copyright. BLACKPINK is a Korean K-Pop girl group. If you freeze your reaction at 5:58 the members are, from left to right, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo. The members all have different backgrounds:
JENNIE was born in S. Korea but went to school in New Zealand for five years before she moved back to S. Korea and was signed at 14 years old.
LISA is actually Thai, not Korean, and the first non-Korean hired by their company. She signed at 14 years old, beating out 4,000 other auditions and moved to S. Korea alone.
ROSÉ (pronounced like the wine or like how you say the Spanish name José) was born in New Zealand then moved to Australia where she lived until she was signed at 16 years old after being the only one chosen out of 700 auditions. English is her first language and she has an Aussie accent that will melt you!
JISOO was born and raised in S. Korea, she signed at 16 years old.
The four girls were signed between 2010-2012 when they were 14-16 years old, then trained SIX YEARS for 14 hours a day (12 pm-2 am), seven days a week, in Rap, Vocal and dance as well as other relevant classes until their company debuted them in August 2016. Both of their debut songs broke records and almost every song they've released since has been a record-breaker. Four of their music videos have over One Billion Views each and their channel has a total of over Seventeen Billion views. They're currently the second most subscribed musical artist on TH-cam with over 61 Million subscribers. They have a great Netflix Documentary called BLACKPINK:LIGHT UP THE SKY (check it out!). All of the girls speak English, Korean and Japanese, Lisa also speaks Thai and Basic Mandarin (Chinese).

If you ever wondered what i mean by those unique tittle of an album, then you just need to learn that these "- R -" is literally the actual name of an album by one of BLACKPINK's members which is Rose. This album is basically her first ever solo project as the main vocalist of BLACKPINK and there's 4 tracks in it (The first one which called "ONTHE GROUND" is tittle track, the second one which called "GONE" is the b-side and the other two is the 'instrument-only' type of track for both "ON THE GROUND" and "GONE").

You can't go wrong with Blackpink. All their songs are very good!
Two other K-Pop girl groups I strongly recommend are Dreamcatcher and Mamamoo.
For Dreamcatcher I would suggest the song "Scream" if you want a harder one or "Deja Vu" if you want more vocals.
For Mamamoo I would suggest the song "Hip" if you want a more upbeat one or "Starry Night" if you want more vocals.
Similar to Blackpink you can't go wrong with any of their songs though.
I also appreciate more Blackpink reactions of course :) If you want more vocals of Blackpink I would suggest "Stay" or their cover of "Sure Thing". Their Coachella performances are also pretty dope if you want to see them more live.
