I have a serious problem with this. It does block ads very well which is awesome, but that's not the issue. The problem here is that it will also block you from going to a lot of websites that it shouldn't block you from as well as clicking on links to direct you to wherever you're trying to go to. If this didn't happen then it would be the perfect ad blocker!
Those websites now understand you have an as blocker and won't let you proceed. Yep, it's annoying 😂
duh your blocking ads their source of income and u expect to get everything free ofcourse they outsmarted and found a way to block you when you block them its an eye for an eye.

This is why I use Samsung Internet instead of Chrome. It has built-in ad blockers that you can install, as well as a lot more customizable options

FYI - This can prevent you from from logging into aircraft in-flight services (which happened to me in the past). If you use this tip, remember to switch Private DNS back to the automatic setting when boarding a plane!
Works pretty well when it works. Other times certain sites won't even open and some refuse to open giving you error message that you need to enable ads.
Spindles links don't open but you can scroll down to the same non-sponsored one and it opens
Maybe also tell your viewers that all your dns traffic ist now routed through a third party and can be logged by them
I don't know man people in the comments are saying that there are problems with it. Just use a regular ad block that are recommended by the Samsung internet app it does nearly the same thing without the hassle.
Nah its all the same, ppl have problems kuz the ads are blocked which any ad blocker would do u jus need to go to non sponsored sites

I've been using this trick for the last 3-4 years! It works like a charm! So many unwanted ads are blocked! 🙂
sometimes just blocking java on the browser will help.
Or just use Opera or Samsung browser wich have adblockers
I use Firefox which doesn't track your data and has add-ons like ad-blocker

I use adguard and the majority of the time it works perfectly.
Unfortunately I can't use a store's wifi when I have adguard engaged. I wish there was way to allow wifi to operate when I'm out at Target for example.
Is there any way to get rid of those big empty spaces? I love the ad block, but you're left with so much empty space
WARNING - a lot of public WiFi networks will not work if you choose this option. Just something to be aware of.

did this myself a while ago and have done it for several others as well. worth it and if you notice a problem you can always switch it back in seconds.

The catch is this.....just adguard, Google, and porn sites get to make
$$ of your sell your information so when that robo call hits they sold em ur #.....when u get an email about ou your tiny Penis, and your wife is never home. Adguard made $$$ off your weiner.....and to think you have to pay when tour weiner is involved BS

Selecting this option will not allow you to connect to your home internet.
Not correct. It may not allow YOU to connect to YOUR specific network but it's just the way your network settings are configured. It works just fine for the vast majority of users.

I use this one particular website for their calculator (I’m a candle maker) and the ads on their website is awful, so much so that I can barely use the calculator. I make these changes and BAM all of those annoying ads are gone! TY

It doesnt work as my network provider has blocked it, so it won't always work with whatever network provider you use.

This is not a trick. This is networking. You can set it up for all the devices at home by changing the DNS setting on the home router to 94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15.

I did this on my SG S23 Ultra. Works great! The ads went away.
HOWEVER, there are 2 things that concern me:
1. After I saved the setting, it said: "Safe Browsing is paused while DNS mode is set to strict". My question on this one is: Is DNS mode being set to "strict" better than the "safe browsing" mode?
2. It also disconnects my VPN.
So bc it disconnects my VPN, I have to choose not to use it. Disappointed! 🙁
