  • Is the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR the best performance SUV money can buy? It might not be as flash or as fast as a Lamborghini urus, but it's HALF THE PRICE!! Thank you to Jaguar UK for giving me the car in Scotland to really get the best out of it! What an amazing few days! Enjoy!!

    I bought a ‘21 F-Pace SVR in May. It is amazing. Review is spot on. I’ve owned German and Italian cars and I think this may be the best car I’ve owned when balancing all factors. The engine is outstanding…sound, speed, responsiveness. Handling is shocking for such a big car…put in in dynamic mode and it is very tight. The interior is beautiful, quiet, comfortable with terrific informatics and every option you can think of. Style is understated in many ways but beautiful. Only negatives are 1) gas mileage…but that’s what you get with 550HP and 2) I hate the heated front windshield with the wires that you can see in the windscreen at night and in certain daylight. If you’re looking at a sport SUV you MUST look at the SVR.

    The same, we bought one 2 months ago having been long term Mercedes owners. Trouble with Mercedes they keep doing small updates (all good), but at the end of the day the dash layouts still have those old round vents and exterior design changes little. The F-Pace blew us away with its smart refined dash layout, just a pleasure to live with. Then we took out the SVR, wow!, no turbo lag due to that supercharged 5 ltr V8, and the torque!, we just had to get one, and we did. Biggest selling point, the money and what you get for it, look at the Jaguar Config site and the standard features, think the only thing missing was the remote boot release using your feet, and thats because the loud exhausts would burn you! GET ONE!

    I love my 2019 SVR, I haven't driven the new model, but I reckon mine is 99% of the way there. As for fuel economy, I managed 29.5 mpg on a long run. That's pretty good for a beast like this.

      @@m4z805 I have been to Heathrow airport several times from South Devon, about 160 miles each way. I achieved between 28.5 and 31.5 mpg. By the way, English gallons are bigger than US gallons. 8 x 20 oz vs 8 x 16 oz. So US mpg would be about 80% of UK mpg. Edit: short journeys with an occasional heavy right foot, more like 12 mpg!

    I’ve got the new SVR now after having the previous gen. It’s head and shoulders above the rest of the pack now I feel. Unfortunately Jaguar have got the label of "unreliable", and they did very little to fix it. Even Range Rovers are popular, but are hated due to its reliability. I own an XF and have done 120k on it, and it has never had any issues. This F Pace shows what Jaguar can do when they actually take pride in their cars. To think they now want to go against Bentley and Porsche in 2025+ for the electric cars can either be a very good thing for them, or will be the end of them.

      @ssjamez1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think you’d be dissatisfied with how it sounds, but I don’t really know your tastes. I’m told the trackhawk has more whine from the supercharger in it’s sound, but with the baffles open on mine it’s loud enough for me. Close them and keep acceleration revs under around 2500 and it’s quiet enough. I guess it also depends on where the car is headed too. I’m told the UK versions are quieter than the US versions due to exhaust regulations. I’m also told the 2021 is a but quieter with less pops and crackles, but I don’t have any first hand experience with that yet. Lease expires in a little over a year so I’ll consider the newer model then, but it goes in for its annual service next week, maybe they’ll have a 21 on the lot to try. I’m doubting they will though:)

Presently in the market to replace my Land Rover Disco Sport currently a toss up between New Defender 110/Velar or F Pace/E Pace. Pity it will not be an SVR though. It was a trade in at a Ferrari Maserati dealership and I was able to bargain them down more than $13k on the price. This is my current dilemma! This or the new face lifted Macan GTS both come in £80k problem is finance and depreciation wise the GTS is more favourable.This would def be the best Experience before moving to all electric

      @nigelk780 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same dilemma and I went for the SVR. The Macan engine just isnt good enough since it went Audi 2.9.Agree on the likely depreciation though. My last 911 GTS was one to many times sitting behind that dash good as it is

    I came so close to buying one of these, but didn’t in the end due to the dire service I received from my local Jaguar dealer 🙁

    Is there a version of this with a softer ride? I've been fooled before with these kinds of cars. "Just put it in comfort mode," they said.

    Yeah I like this a lot, looks great- I imagine in a dark blue or dark green this would look even more regal. And I love the fact that it’s got real tailpipes not some stupid chrome plastic fakery that the RR Audi etc have…
    Better start searching the back of the sofas so I can buy one now 🤣
    Keep the up good work Paul- from a fellow Napsbury brother 👊🏻👊🏻

    For two years I could not see how anyone would ignore this beast and just go get an X5M for $100K US when this monster is around $85K. Now that the interior is refreshed and the already gorgeous exterior was nipped and tucked perfectly, anyone who buys an X5M is nuts. THIS is as good in most ways and better in some, for $20K less. The word is starting to leak out unfortunately and I fear the sweet deals you may have gotten on one two years ago are gone forever... :-(
