Nice firearm handling skills. I do exactly the same things on the range. I watched a movie of Russian Special Forces using their magazines to climb up a wall. They would take the rifle, holding the stock up, and "hook" the rifle to climb up the wall. I do not know if these were fake magazines, meant to be used for theatrics, or if this really works. Would you consider doing such a test and if it is possible, then demonstrate it yourselves? Knowing that your magazine is so tough that you can climb with it is really impressive. If it's possible.
I'm guessing if the magazine didn't break/bend the latch or other parts of receiver would get damaged (weakest link). A perfect mag would be just strong enough to break before the rifle broke.
