I didn’t really get it when I first started getting into 1911s but now I really like the nuance and the slight bit of recoil control you get from it. Thanks for the comment.
if i had the cash buy a used one and have it shipped off to turnbull custom to have it polished and old school charcoal and bone blue with the small parts fire blued..it would be a good looking and high preforming work of art!
Both are very nice pistols so you can't really go wrong. A few things to consider - the GRP is pretty straight forward (unless you chose to upgrade it) but still a great pistol. I have a video on a GRP and you can see they are not much different as far as split times go when shooting. The Predator does reduce felt recoil but take down for cleaning is more difficult. Perhaps not a big deal for some people but still a consideration.
Surprised nobody has commented on this video. I always liked the way Nighthawk did a flanged barrel with their Predator series.

Thanks for showing.
I prefer a barrel bushing.
A barrel bushing can be hard-fit to increase accuracy.
Not many accuracy improvements you can really make to a nighthawk

I thinking about getting this one vs a GRP.. any thoughts?
