Aces are bait. For straights you want to aim for the high middle instead, like J,10,9,8,7 and then trim the cards at the edges. Smaller decks are more consistent and hand size is king.

You want to try to keep total size down to cycle through your deck easier. (All of this information doesn't really matter if you have the shortcut joker)
red card is +6 mult per shop since you can almost always buy the 2 packs and skip them both. It might be one of the fastest scaling jokers in the game once your econ is rolling, and NL perpetually is sitting on $30 anyway. Good ol NL always skips red card and takes the tarot card joker instead
Was there ever a question about if dataminers were ruining things in video games? I always saw that as an obvious truth, like scalpers being pure cancer for limited edition sales. Datamining limits what video games can do so much
This might be unpopular, but the CRT filter and screen shake is very silly, and I turned it off the second I started the game. I grew up with CRT my whole childhood, and the fake versions of it just don’t look right. All it does is make the in game text harder to read for me (my vision is crap). I appreciate that I was allowed to turn the CRT/screen shake off, and turn on high contrast cards so I don’t accidentally mix up spades and clubs by accident.
