pro tip when it comes to the Muzzle loader, if you take all of the versions with you and hotbar them, then load two with the high pen ammo and one with the ball ammo you can fire them pretty quickly after eachother and save time on the reload by just firing all three after one another. i do it all the time and i have maybe 300 clean kills with them so far. thats 300 all-in-all, not separately.

My Keyboard is broken , So plz don't mind if this comment becomes a reply of someone , But I didn't knew there was actually a Shooting Range in Parque . Also to reload a Muzzleloader quickly you can swap to another weapon and then get it back , Not 100% effective but works , so that you don't need to wait a millennium to reload .
My overall favorite gun would have to be the Eckers 30-06. It’s just such a good gun! I use it a lot in silver ridge peaks for taking down deer and antelope and some bigger animals like the Rocky Mountain Elk. Of course I obviously use the 7mm for Plains Bison since the 30-06 isn’t meant for Bison, but overall the Eckers is one of the best guns in the game! I totally recommend it!
I SPECIFICALLY bought Yukon for the .300 and i went on a grind. and boy did i go beyond. So I got some money to buy some dlcs, and i bought the modern rifles pack with Yukon, and also the 1st weapon pack. I started my game in Yukon, I "bought, all the guns I purchased, then bought ammo. And I had like 400 dollars. Then I went on a crazy grind, specifically bison. And then I finally had over 75000 for that smexy .300. Haven't shot anything with it yet but i will try to shoot a grizzly first

Got the 2021 version of the game for 45$ on sale for the holidays and it came with all the dlc packs. New to the game but the 7mm is my favorite to use. Yes you only get 1 shot but how many do you really need and of a big herd can take down 3 with it. Maybe because it's what I use in real life here in Colorado for elk but it's my favorite,have the 300 as well. But if over 250yds I always use the 7mm.

I've been grinding away on it and am level 37 after about a week,10 days,havent even hit all the maps yet. The one I got came with several maps and dlc packs. Only maps that didn't come with it were Africa and medved. Bought them both to have them. Started at Layton woth the 06,stayed there for about 3 real time days then hit silver ridge. Didn't realize how slow Layton ways until I went to Silver ridge, I leveled up and made lots of cash quick,got the 7mm then the 300mag. I make 30k a game day there. Went to Alaska and unlocked all the lookout and outpost but haven't hunted it much yet. Noticed with this game the hunting or even seeing game is real slow until all the outpost are unlocked or the more time you spend checking out or exploring the more animals seems to show up for you.Have done Africa several times. Good money there as well but get trampled by buffalo and have been killed several times by lions While tracking an animal I've shot. It's a pretty fun game. Had 50$ in the PS store and seen it was on sale for 45 forthe ps4 just a few days after Xmas until Jan 1st or so. Came with almost all the dlc packs except weapons pack 1 and think the wild goose pack and just 2 of the maps. But the 7mm is by far my favorite rifle so far in the game. Seem to get a lot quicker kills and have to track animals far less using it,especially with the longer shots. I just today figured out you can change the colors of things,like your primary tracking animal and other things as well as the meters to yards and such.Thanks for your videos,they are very helpful and informative
IDK if they have changed it but at one time at least the .410 gave shotgun score instead of handgun score. I actually used it on ducks to finish unlocking all the rest of my shotgun stuff that was locked behind points.
I didn’t notice that. I’ve never used the 45 colt in my life til yesterday. I’d thats the case teen you can level up your handgun doing the same thing with the 22 pistol. And the colt for shotgun. Good catch!

yes i found it hard but then i just looked after 2 weapons one that can only shoot class 1 and a weapon that 4-8 or 4-9 so i bought the smoking barrels pack and the pack where you get the 22lr and that 22lr has been very useful i got a diamond piebald mallard cause of it

I use zeroing so I usually use the centre and set my zeroing. I’d have to take it to the range to answer that. Usually each dot represents 50 metres but I’d have to test it.
I'm new to the game and I watched a video from another call of the wild TH-camr called Risky and he made a video called the top 2 best loadouts for the game but I didn't know where half of them were 2 of them were in the dlc packs but thanks to you I've now found out that about all of them were in the dlcs so thanks for this and I'm sorry for being late to be posting this 😳🤫😅
If you don't mind cheese, cap lock reloads instantly when switching ammo. But then again, why would you pack a muzzle loader if you don't want to reload for half a minute.

LadyLegendXO that's the only pack I don't have. I'll likely get it at some point, for now I'll stick to the .45 shooting axis and roe deer (instead of the bow).

Absolutely! I use the 7 mm all the time. I don’t use the drilling rifle often. 7 mm is a killing machine! Sometimes I think it’s stronger than the 3oo.

I just got the game. I don’t know what im going to be going for. I tend to miss alot and when i do I don’t hit vital. Can you recommend what would be best in my situation?
Here is my shot placement guide. It should help with getting vitals. You also need the right skills and perks. You need weapon zeroing. If you don’t have it, you’ll be automatically zeroed to 150m. 9:49 the miller is the only shotgun that you can use for class 9 animals, so thats nice. besides that, yeah, i also use the cacciatore.

It used to give handgun at a point, but that might deen a bug. I'm certain it gives shotgun atm.

How does the scope work on crossbow how do you sights work? What's is the red dots set for as far as range? Top dot middle dot bottom dot?

Birdshot in the handgun levels up the shotgun. I tried to use that approach when I decided to go after the .454. Didn’t help.
you can use the 22 handgun to level up the handgun though. That’ll work. I had never used the 45 colt EVER before making that video lol.

Most rifles are good for long distances but shotguns are close range. Slugs zero up to 150 m only. M1, 303, 300, 338 all good at long ranges.

Parque didn't come with a weapon. It came with unlockable weapon skins for I think the 338 and the 45 maybe.
