"Faith builds" This is a strength weapon with a faith requirement. Ordovis GS scales much better with faith if you're looking for a caster weapon that punishes people closing the gap.

Out of all of those tornado and catch flame are the only viable ones and they aren't a weapon like OP mentioned.

fun fact: with nanaya's torch in the main hand any smithscript weapons in the off hand that get thrown will have an applied frenzy effect. this can happen with other buffed things as well so st. trinas torch could work as well.

Proper setups are finally able to do 50-66% of even 2000+ HP with much harder to punish attacks. Can't wait to see Anvil Hammer. The ash isn't crazy, but the AR scaling is. Plus, the lingering hitbox on the spikes could be useful when you've got people rushing you down.

And that’s before going into the L1>R1 combo. Plus the amount of stamina damage you take is tiny! Can’t wait to see you decimate squads with it!
I'd like to see a Dragon Cult lightning build using the Death Knight set or, if you want to go full 1-shot meme, the Priestess Heart transformation. Knight's Lightning Spear deals absurd damage.
I'd vote with commenting on weapons, to use the Milady next. It has a lot of ash options, a couple unique ones, and you had mentioned you haven't tried it yet! It has both elegance and power.
No it doesn't, this weapon does more damage and has bigger reach with its vortex meanwhile Ordovis charges up faster and does higher stance damage. Of course greatswords are a better weapon class but if we're judging it as a pure ash of war stick then Devonia wins out DPFP-wise.
Loving the backhand blades, Swift slash is kinda crazy but blind spot is pretty much bloodhound step with an attack. Hand of Malenia is pretty crazy too with the whole dancer set as long as you power stance endure.
You should try out the fine crucible feather talisman. It gives your backstep Iframes, letting you actually go for the backstep backstabs you enjoy so much.
Chase is gonna go through EVERY SINGLE weapon in the dlc before Nanaya's Torch.

Poise is definitely necessary. My favorite poise monster is the martial wraps charged palm strike. It's so fun doing the martial arts
Fromsoft messed up poise damage across the board for DLC weapons, compared to the base game they all do substantially less than they should.

chase you should look at thiolier's hidden needle. It causes deep sleep and its ash of war does a big damage effect on someone asleep.
My favorite colossal is the Sunflower but this is pretty good!
