We don't have an exact time frame but it's presumed to be after Rogue One takes place, as Mandalore is reclaimed from the Empire in the last season of Rebels, which ends shortly before RO.

Well ofc Ferrix and Saw's planet are also on that map somewhere. I think Ferrix is somewhere in the north-east considering it was under corporate control.
At Star Wars Celebration, Tony Gilroy said Season 2 will reveal an Imperial energy weapon, so I think that's the Arc Pulse Generator which would tie into Mandalore.

Atollon for me is the most interesting find, regardless of the Bendu, the planet was not on the empires star charts and was only discovered by the rebels because of the artwork on Lothal and through data from both Rebel and Imperial networks. Perhaps this does kinda indicate that Luthen is a Jedi? Maybe it's another one of those deleted from the jedi archive jobs, perhaps because of the Bendu? Correct me if I'm wrong but literally no one in the galaxy knew about the location of the planet until Rebels?
Clearly some people knew of it as there was artwork. This really adds to Luthen's background as an intelligence agent for who knows what side. For all we know he may have been the one to erase it from imperial records. If we ever get to see his backstory it would be interesting to see non-clone forces demobilizing at the end of the Clone Wars. While the bad batch is doing a great job of covering clones, we still have not seen a lot about figures who would have left service in the early years of empire.
Having grown up in Aargau (Switzerland), I find it amusing that my canton was taken for a banking world when the neighboring canton Zurich is the actual banking centre of Switzerland.
Apologies fir bringing this up again, but what uf you re made your old videos then everyone could still enjoy them for free, great job btw this video has clearly taken a long time
A small mistake with the Ssi-ruuk, they used entechment, which uses technology to rip the 'life energy' from sentients and use this energy to power their systems and droids not magic. Though Entechment and Enchantment are very similar words so I can see where you got confused. They were unknown to the known galaxy until the later days of the empire where they found that human energy lasted longer then other species and made a deal with Palpatine to give him this technology in exchange for human planets. As to how Luthen got to and survived an encounter with the murderous, zealous, slave keeping space raptors is a mystery.
I’m desperate to see some of the planets we have visited in games make it to screen. Dathomir, Dantooine, Korriban and Naboo (again) being just some of lore-rich places I’d like to see in live action.
Dissapointed that Dantooine wasn't mentioned, as it was a safeworld for Rebels in Legends. There's literally 4 world marked around it, and yet that safeworld is not mentioned. Not to mention it has a connection to the Sith too.
Apparently Andor Season 2 is moving straight to Yavin 4. So looks like they're ignoring Dantooine lore from Rebels, which is weird, it was considered for Rogue One originally.
They do use space stations away from planets for traders and merchants to gather and meet and trade with each other. Being far from a planetary government can have its advantages. And as long as all it has to do is sit there, you can build something on a death star level so there are plenty of places to dock and store merchandise.
i hope they never really explain Luthen's past, but i expect him to be either an Ex-Republic Intelligence officer or even Separatist intel officer. It would be lame if he was force sensitive but wouldn't surprise me if disney went that way since SW = xwing, ties, lightsabers and force users.
I feel that Luthen was most definitely involved with the Confederacy in some sort of capacity. Though he does not have Mygeeto to completely fill up the "Triad of Evil" alongside Saleucami and Felucia, he does have Aargau, another world for the IGBC. Perhaps some his hatred of the Empire is hatred he had for the Republic during the Clone Wars. Maybe that's another reason as to why Cassian stuck out to him so much: someone else who had everything taken from him by the Republic
It would be cool if he wasn’t a Jedi or sith, but a explorer of ancient cultures and had all these connections just because he was fascinated with them but as time went on he realised he could use them to fund his plans to take down the empire.
Didn't Palpatine wear an ancient Sith robe during his proclamation of the empire? Obviously the very tangible threat of fascism is enough of a motivator to rebel, but I still wonder if maybe Luthen saw and recognized that connection then and there. Anyway, probably took a whole lot of effort to deceipher and research this video and it really shows, great work
An important note: Disney only suspended the Expanded Universe, they didn't exactly get rid of it. I assume that the main timeline and planets set out in the Star Wars the Essential Atlas are still "unofficially canon", because Disney has no reason to reinvent the Star Wars past. The main problem with the EU was everything that was written after New Hope, much of it contradictory or poorly written.
Well, they're rewriting Star Wars past with High Republic, so no, they can overwrite whatever they want. The past of the canon galaxy probably soon will look radically different than the EU past! They only use EU as placeholder to not upset the fandom until they write their version of the past. They also recently made canon exclusive map with canon planets, it's still based on Essential Atlas, but it's different now with some planets removed.

I think Luthen's "assistant" Kleya is the force user and mastermind, and Luthen is the muscle and on the front lines since he is clearly trained in 'tradecraft.'
Rael Averross would have access to this information from several sources. From his time as a Jedi and through his former master and any CIS locations left to him by that master.
Greetings, MetaNerds Lore I just wanted to ask you if you can do a video of the mysterious ship that the 3 inquisitors came out of in the 1st episode of Obi-wan Kenobi and if possible can you make a video of the fanon imperial predator-class battlecruiser.
Him and his shop have a huge intel network the dots not anywhere. I'm amusing they are relays left over from CIS or his own built, when your in the shop you can see some of the kit from some of the worlds. "Bibity bobatiy this is now my property" some antics sound about right. The bit where you see him getting into his persona, give a strong feeling of deep cover spy/intel specialist. What bug me is his ship is used when he is doing everything, if it was a real spy wouldn't he have the ship for every persona, or is this just gota have a "hero ship" detracting from spy games.
I'm thinking this ship was made in large numbers making it a very common sight around the galaxy. It would be like using a generic white Ford pickup truck irl.
I definitely think there's a possibility that Luthen is indeed former CIS. I mean there are indications that he has been in this fight for long, + he constantly avoids ghe question about what faction he's aligned with. The Empire had a massive propaganda campaign against the seppies. So the chances are that people wouldn't work for him if he were to admit that he's a sep

Personally, much like the Yuuzhan Vong, & I’m using this term in the same way in the first episode of _Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase_ (english dubbed by Funimation), the only way to be immune to MOST of the Force, primarily its flow & influences, is to be Retarded towards it. Sure, if Palpatine shot lightning at me or a Jedi conjectured a small tornado to lift me up & hold me in place, I’d be affected because they’re using the force to influence everything else, just not me personally. Thus, I wouldn’t be surprised that certain people are, in a way, immune to direct attacks such as force push/force pull, but won’t be immune to that telekinetically moved boulder that is being hurtled towards me…
That's just not true - all beings who don't have some special aspect that repels active manipulation of the living Force are subject to the Force. There is absolutely no precedent in the entire Legends or Canon for the idea that being less Force sensitive makes you less vulnerable to the Force.
That isn’t exactly the point, @@charlesjenkins2090. Sure, nobody is going to be immune to the force, as I have specifically described at the end of my comment, but that doesn’t mean they can be resistant to the force by simply denying the force, i.e. a hypocritical paradox, borrowed by _Re:CREATORS_ , where you can’t pick yourself up & throw yourself. Here on earth, we have mitochondria. In that galaxy far far away, they have Midi-chlorians. Based on what I know & understand of _Star Wars_ lore, the force won’t work, or will barely work, here in our galaxy. Plus, we’d likely have an immunity due to not having Midi-chlorians, just Mitochondria…

While the bad batch is doing a great job of covering clones, we still have not seen a lot about figures who would have left service in the early years of empire.
@@PMARC14 The Artwork was ancient, it took droids utilising both the imperial and Rebel networks to correlate the location of the planet
Luthen: activate protocol 69
Droid: nice
Having grown up in Aargau (Switzerland), I find it amusing that my canton was taken for a banking world when the neighboring canton Zurich is the actual banking centre of Switzerland.
Apologies fir bringing this up again, but what uf you re made your old videos then everyone could still enjoy them for free, great job btw this video has clearly taken a long time
Yeah I plan on remaking all of them
@@MetaNerdzLore even the Geode video?
@@MetaNerdzLore THaNK YOU looking forward to it
A small mistake with the Ssi-ruuk, they used entechment, which uses technology to rip the 'life energy' from sentients and use this energy to power their systems and droids not magic.
Do a video on different type of dathameir weapons and wild beasts.
Nice work!
Good video but a correction if it was not brought up. The dreadmasters were not on cyborrea, they were awakened and spread there fear from Oricon
Amazing!
Maybe not yet in Andor.
Apparently Andor Season 2 is moving straight to Yavin 4. So looks like they're ignoring Dantooine lore from Rebels, which is weird, it was considered for Rogue One originally.
What old videos would be archived?
They do use space stations away from planets for traders and merchants to gather and meet and trade with each other. Being far from a planetary government can have its advantages. And as long as all it has to do is sit there, you can build something on a death star level so there are plenty of places to dock and store merchandise.
META you should get a job in Coruscant Star Cartography library 😀👍
The dot passed Mon Cala might be Hast. Idk tho
i hope they never really explain Luthen's past, but i expect him to be either an Ex-Republic Intelligence officer or even Separatist intel officer. It would be lame if he was force sensitive but wouldn't surprise me if disney went that way since SW = xwing, ties, lightsabers and force users.
Why not, whole Andorr is different
I feel that Luthen was most definitely involved with the Confederacy in some sort of capacity. Though he does not have Mygeeto to completely fill up the "Triad of Evil" alongside Saleucami and Felucia, he does have Aargau, another world for the IGBC. Perhaps some his hatred of the Empire is hatred he had for the Republic during the Clone Wars. Maybe that's another reason as to why Cassian stuck out to him so much: someone else who had everything taken from him by the Republic
Thanks! Impressive....
Sweet! Thanks!
Glad u liked it
@@MetaNerdzLore like all your videos man. They are great.
Do a video on the history of slavery in the star wars galaxy.
It would be cool if he wasn’t a Jedi or sith, but a explorer of ancient cultures and had all these connections just because he was fascinated with them but as time went on he realised he could use them to fund his plans to take down the empire.
I like him going to Korriban to dig up stuff Indiana-Jones style. 🙂
Does Zakuul (in the unknown regions) appear? What about the Chiss worlds in the Unknown regions?
I wonder if the empty dots are worlds yet to be announced.
What game is that at 5:25 ?
I'm willing to bet he is playing ally with both Wookies and the lizard folk
Yeah why not use them both
Ahh yes my favourite species......

I think a Jedi who joined the Confederacy and worked as a spy might be interesting
Do a video on the biology, history, and culture of neimoidians.
That's next
Maybe Luthen is a Jedi of The Lost Twenty (from the EU). Not an enemy of the Jedi, but just went on his own because of the Clone Wars.
Oh wow cool 😎
Luthen is Rail Averos!!! Count Dookus old apprentice. This explains why he was a Jedi and separatist.
th-cam.com/users/shortskF2gySqAzoc
check it out it, I don't think so. I hope to use shorts like this to tag on to things from vids I put out and shortly address theories like this that pop up
Funny how those dots aren't these dots
I think Luthen's "assistant" Kleya is the force user and mastermind, and Luthen is the muscle and on the front lines since he is clearly trained in 'tradecraft.'
this is my new favorite theory
Rael Averross would have access to this information from several sources. From his time as a Jedi and through his former master and any CIS locations left to him by that master.
Check out my last short on this
I like you're vids. Can yu do Halo and Mass Effect Ships in the future. Because explainings are so good and detailed. I hope to see more.
Definitely working on that
Are old videos going to get remade or no?
Yeah thats the plan
@@MetaNerdzLore alright
It would be like using a generic white Ford pickup truck irl.
whats the source of the galaxy map? The old galactic atlas? Ive been looking for a newer canon source but havent found one.
Newer canon map is in Star Wars: Timelines. That map removes some Legends planets unfortunately.

@@nickvinsable3798 Star Wars is fiction dude I thought you were making yourself an analogy to Luthen or other hypothetical non Force sensitive people, but if you're talking about the Force in relation to you in actual reality...yeah who cares the Force isn't real
Well, which is it then, @@charlesjenkins2090? I’ve elaborated & pointed out its not impossible, then you’ve claimed its not true in the _Star Wars_ universe, then I’ve elaborated more, then you claim that its a work of fiction, which I’m completely aware about. Thus, are you losing it or something?
@@nickvinsable3798 Its not true in the SW universe, you then decide to start talking about something other than the SW universe, to which I say its fiction why are you talking about if Jedi (who don't exist) were to come to earth.
