I went to the DR for my surgery & had no issues. I hate how Miami treats it as an outpatient procedure. In the DR you stay overnight at the clinic, have an overnight nurse, see the doctor post op, the recovery houses have nurses/feed you/do your laundry/wash you & recommend you stay min 10 days! Miami is the worst.

As an RN who wrkd in surgery’s and trauma unit, this story has my hairs up. For him to not put in another drain is insane. I’m happy to see u live and kickin my love. To not have a drain is a death trap. I love my job and would never treat a patient that way. Unfortunately a lot of nurses and doctors have horrible bed side manners. I continue to wrk as an RN to try and and make a difference and to b kind. This job is not for everyone. The front desk is ur first impression and r just as important as medical trained staff. If they give a bad vibe it usually goes downhill from there. Glad u good and continue to b healthy without problems down the road. Thanx for sharing ur story

People talk about going overseas but the reason why I went to DR is because of how I knew I would be treated by my doctor and the hospital she’s affiliated with. I’m a RN and I’ve never liked how America treats most surgeries as outpatient. I was checked in the night before for my surgery and was chilling and relaxing until they came and got me. My room looked like a luxury hotel and they gave me IV to make sure I was good even though I wasn’t able to eat. Then they kept me for another night mandatory. I had zero complications and was spoiled the entire time. My doctor is super particular, protective and also a mom of four. She wasn’t playing with me at all & I love her for it. My results were perfect!

It bothers me that people equate having surgery to the physical body as a form of self hate. Every surgery comes with a risk of fatality (I had a friend that died from having a C-section. She should have just risked pushing the baby out 😔). There are way more people that survive having surgery cosmetic vs the ones that don’t make it. To each person is their own. Do what makes you happy but most of all, do your research. My doctor was double board certified from Tampa Fl bc I refused to go to Miami bc no one had the experienced I wanted for conducting a skinny BBL. Two of my sister’s have since had cosmetic surgery as well as 2 other people that I know and everyone is perfectly fine with no complications. Do not go to these facilities that have millions of doctor’s working there that is just trying to build their clientele. Again, do your research and don’t try to save money by going to these cheap facilities. It’s not worth it.

ATP! Everything should’ve been free, I’m so pissed off like it was me. Ugh I hate that experience for you so much and overall I’m glad you made it safe. From the surgery, the caregiver, the driver. God definitely had his hands on you. And you will be blessed double time thank you for your honesty ❤
