- I took them on this holiday to tell them that I'm not going to be breastfeeding them anymore. Omega decided that he didn't like the idea and is still having milk for comfort and not nutrition. Aphrodite has asked a few times. I bought them these teddy bears as, Goodbye Milk presents.

Love this idea… I have 4 kids and my youngest is almost 1 year. I stopped breastfeeding for all the others around 1 year and my littlest I’m like… I wouldn’t mind going longer, and I think he’s ok with that too, even if it’s just at night… kind of like you mentioned for comfort. You are an inspiration 😁❤️❤️❤️
I didn't have any toys whatsoever growing up so watching the little ones select their teddy bears and clothes is very close to my heart 💓 Love your family Taina 💋❤️
That’s really sad to know you didn’t have any toys Marisa. I had dolls but I use to spend hours playing with my grandma’s buttons which she had in a large tin. X
Wow I thought I had it ruff with my sisters handme down barbies an baby dolls they we the same an I love dthem to death an my mother made me give 1 to my cousins in Canada an my aunt knitted a blue outfit on her an gave her a boys name.... it was nevr the same again... heeheehee 🙂

Awe I didn't know she passed away. I knew she wasn't feeling well. I always had the utmost respect for her and her position. She had a very hard demanding life and job. Not many could accomplish what she has. My heart goes out to her family. God bless. 🙏

Ending breastfeeding can be both liberating and bittersweet. My last child was only 18 months when she would laugh at me when nursing, which turned out to be the end. Love your videos!!!

How anyone can say this woman isnt a good mother , or worse that she is an evil mother Ill never understand. You can LITERALLY HEAR the patience and love radiating from her voice.

I hope no one is saying that, she is 100% dedicated to raising her children in a loving, caring and mindful way. You can't fake life all the time so to me the videos are how they live in real life. The kids are calm, well behaved and that comes from the amazing home environment their parents provide for them. She speaks to them with a gentle voice, feeds them nourishing food and provides many rich learning activities. I think that people can be negative when they see someone living differently to them. Xx
I breastfed each of my sons (40 years ago) till 8 and 9 months. When they each bit me and laughed I told them they were done and got a bottle after that. It was time.

I remember my two year old telling me mamas milk was yummier than chocolate milk - we had a traumatic end to our breastfeeding journey, I had planned to tandem feed but was hospitalised for six weeks at the end of my pregnancy with my daughter and was advised to stop breastfeeding due to meds they put me on. I wish I had know about the breastfeeding network back then. By the time I got home with my daughter he was so traumatised he decided not to have it anymore. We had one sleepy feed where I in a sleep deprived state offered him the breast automatically whilst half asleep. But he never fed after that. I’m so happy for you that you have this lovely end to breastfeeding. You are one amazing Mama Taina.
I nursed my son until he was 3.5 then I caved to pressure to cut him off. Wish I wouldn’t have. I asked him one time why he liked to nurse and he told me it tasted like a banana shake lol. This is a brilliant child that was nursing and still wearing diapers while surfing the net and hacking into his cousins computer lol. He is now an aerospace engineer.
Beautiful children, great idea to have a retreat with them in observance of the end of breast-feeding, lovely location, and quite a fierce bear attack at the end!! Beware of the bears!

You gave them one of the most beautiful gifts of extended breastfeeding! They were so adorable with their bears. So much delight! I wish I had given my kid’s something when they stopped. They were 3, 4 & 5 yrs.

A wonderfull way to finish breastfeeding. My first child stop breastfeeding on her own at the age of two. My son is two years old and still breastfeeding. So one day we have to buy a milk teddy too. Greatings from Germany. ❤
I wouldn't let myself go dry just incase a little birdie 🐦 mite need some incase of a emergency. I remember my appendix ruptured and I had 3 small babies to breastfeed and they would not accept formal and they ended up in the er. They needed intubation and once I got out I immediately breastfeed them again they were underweight. You may never know who you can help by even selling or donating your breast milk.
