14:01- yes it makes complete sense!! A disadvantage to being an artist is that we wear our hearts on our sleeves. Making art requires us to expose ourselves as we truly are or wish to be. Making your art makes you vulnerable, and yet you share it with us anyway! The video and funny bits and songs you clip into it are %100 part of the artwork because you are unabashedly putting your personality out there for art spectators, consumers, viewers and fellow artists to see. That's part of why your channel is so inspiring to me!! Sharing my art with the world is one thing, but linking my face and personality to it openly leaves me even more vulnerable, and that's kinda scary 😅 I love that you are %100 yourself, no kissing ass or changing to fit in or adhere. I can say with confidence that this is the best skillshare ad so far
The only thing you need to know about dusting electronics with canned air is to try to hold the fan to prevent it from spinning, since it basically turns into a tiny generator when you do that. It won't usually harm anything even if you get it spinning pretty fast, but it's best practice not to let it. The gamecube really is a marvel of electronics packaging because it has a crazy number of individual boards packaged on top of each other, around each other, and they all basically hold each other together so you can lift it out of the case intact. Beautiful engineering. Now if only they had designed it to use full-sized DVDs so the game devs had more storage space to work with...
Also, if you want to be able to paint smooth gradients easier, get some float medium. It'll give you more working time to do wet-into-wet blending on the work instead of relying on feathering or blending more transitional colors. Depending on how much you need to use to give you the working time you need, you may need to paint in a solid background color for each of your major panels of color before you start with the highlights and shadow, just because it'll reduce the opacity of the acrylic a bit, but if all you need is a minute or two of working time, then it should be fine to just add in a small amount of float medium to retard the dry time so you can get your blending done.
I totally freaking loving your choice of colors. As a fact it influenced my channel colors like hardcore. Thanks for the inspiration.

Now that’s how you film art! Completely agree it’s all the elements together that becomes the art. Each element is its own art form but together it’s this super art form.
