    Which exhaust are you planning on using with your ported cylinder? Also where in the RPMs are you going to make peak power? Your stock pipe will not rev high enough to have any big gains in power, I only think a scalvini pipe will be enough (depending on how much the exhaust port was raised). Also wouldn't the Adige PWR-2 reed valves be much better for this bike? I am looking forward to future episodes.

      @SheharaDevundara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, thank you!!😁👍 also we'll be using a giannelli for race exhaust, but we also have a sport production underpassing jollymoto exhaust to test. Scalvini exhaust are relly good for mid and high ranges (rpm ranges). My goal is to have as much torque and power in the bottom end since this will be a street bike and im planning to have a lil fun with it. The adige reed valves are really good on the mid and top ranges; however, they lack a bit in torque/bottom end power. I think that the boysen reeds will give me more power in the bottom end and even out on the higher rpm, ranges. I'm glad you're enjoing the vids man!

    bello bello. ma le modifiche che hai fatto all anticipo come cambiano il comportamento della moto?

    • @SheharaDevundara
      @SheharaDevundara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sotto la moto e più pronta. lavorando il cilindro, specialmente lo scarico si perde tanto in coppia. quindi l'anticipo si fa per recuperare nei giri bassi. Anche se il cilindro non viene modificato, facendo solo l'anticipo la differenza nei regimi bassi si sente. scatta molto di più 👍

      @@SheharaDevundara capito capito grazie. Lasciando il cilindro originale ma lavorando sul contorno ha comunque senso fare quel lavoro sull anticipo?

    • @SheharaDevundara
      @SheharaDevundara  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Si, la differenza si nota. Però se riesci anche a mettere lo squish a circa 0,90mm cambiando la guarnizione cilindro (anche se il cilindro e originale) si sente veramente tanto l’aumento in coppia quindi conviene

      Piston ring clearances are checked by inserting the rings one at a time in the cylinder and measuring the gap in the ring hence the name ring gaps it’s the gap in the expansion tips in the rings not the gap between the piston and the cylinder so In simple terms put the ring in the barrel use the top of the piston to straighten the ring then measure the gap in the split end of the ring and wala you’ve done it

    • @SheharaDevundara
      @SheharaDevundara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it depends, what bike do you have? the rs 125cc and the sx 125cc (aprilias from 2007 and upwards) have this hole on the ecu to drill out with a 4mm bit. On other models( also the aprilia rs 50 sx 50) its not possibe to drill out that part, you have to unlock it with the computer, but also that depends on what ecu you have. some ecu's cant be unlocked 👍

    Hello! I own a Aprilia MX125 rotax 122, and i wanted to ask you if i could put a electric start motor in the engine, without cutting anything or something like that?

    • @SheharaDevundara
      @SheharaDevundara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes you can put a starter motor wihout cutting off anything, (rs 125 bikes have the same engines with the starter motor). However you'll need to get the starter motor, the flywheel and the relay for it, otherwise the starter motor alone wont work!!

    Hello , i have a question about the ecu, i also have a sx and mine is turning up to 12000-12500 rpm and i havent thrilled a hole in the ecu, hows that possible? And what exactly you mean at the stock carburator is reducing the power?
    Great video!

    • @SheharaDevundara
      @SheharaDevundara  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      the rpm's will show on the dash but the power wont be there once unlocked you'll get the full power. i'm from italy and the ecu's here are locked due to the law so the stock bikes arent that fast, yours maybe isnt locked; however, if you end up modifying the ecu you will feel a difference
      the stock carburator is good too, i meant the carbuaration. you have to tune it properly, by changing the needle, jets, the carb nozzle (jet body)
