Great tutorial :) but I need help with the removal of the font texture. I'm using the letter O of the font Batman Forever but when I use the magic tool, it selects the whole letter itself and forgets the hole of the O. When I erase the texture as you do, it covers the whole letter including the hole, what do I do??? (sorry if that makes no sense) I've been trying to find a way around it for a few hours now and it's kind of starting to upset me, I've been thinking of just getting someone else to make my logo but I'm not quite sure yet :/ please help :(

Anyway, once you use the tool, you can then use the select and move too. Select the layer around the letter, not the letter itself. Now this dude is a real paint.net graphic designer its not like these other 10 year olds who just use images from google and i dont mean like get one image for textures they make their entire picture out of images from google and turboz ACTUALLY does it well.
Btw here are some cool paint.NET shortcuts: *zoom in/out* - control + scroll wheel. *deselect* - enter/control + d. *undo* - control + z *redo* - control + y *move screen sideways* - shift + scroll *move screen up/down* - scroll *_TOOLS_* *select/lasso/ellipse/wand (press s multiple times to switch)* - s *color picker* - k *pencil* - p *brush* - b *THAT SHOULD HELP YOU USE **PAINT.NET** WAY BETTER! :D*

made my logo in PDN, been using PDN since 2012 and love it! very proficient sofware, has the ability to match up with Photoshop any day! check out the Paint.net forums for various other tutorials and competitions!
Great video but next time you should know some key shortcuts. Like CTRL+mouse wheel will zoom in and out. Also when you use the magic wand you can just click back on the graphic and press delete on your keyboard instead of using an eraser
I'm not sure about tNice tutorials, but if you wanna fix it open GMS. Then in the GMS, there's a light blue screen with a lot of buttons and other stuff.
The issue that you had using the photo glow didn't work because you merged the layers together. If you applied that effect while the white border was on a separate layer, it wouldn't have given you that problem. Otherwise, great video. Thanks!

Instead of using the Eraser once you have the selection, you can just hit the Delete key on the keyboard.

you could just merge the letter texture down to the letter (if you dont have extra layers just the solid letter)
You do know that Paint.net has an outline tool.... So much easier. You can also download plugins to make this whole process so much faster and easier
Paper Tiger yes there is. it's called "outline object" on my paint dot net it's in →effects→object→outline object
Are you using the Producer version, if so are all the effects and tutorial you use in the video included as standard with the Producer
