Also to clarify to most people, yes Mark Henn is an animator of Ariel and Pocahontas, but Glen Keane is the main supervising animator for Ariel and Pocahontas. Henn on the other hand is the main supervising animator for Belle, Jasmine, Mulan and Tiana.

Henn and Keane both shared the supervising role on Ariel.
It's just that Keane's involvement on Ariel is so well known by the causal public/animation fans, and also that the public can only place one animator to each character ala the Nine Old Men, that Ariel became synonymous with Glen Keane only.
Pocahontas was a true case where Henn animated under Keane for that character as the movie Henn was preparing to tackle, Mulan, was not ready for him yet, so he was put on Poca in the interim to help out with Keane's unit.
@@cjm866 Yes, they did share that role. But which scenes did each of them handle in the film? Cause I know Glen animated the Part Of Your World sequence, but that's it.

You're right. It's the nose. Ariel's is more a button nose than a long nose. I think it must've merged in his head.
@@justanimationstuff3307 Nah, it's definitely the eyes. Those are Jasmine's eyes. Ariel's are rounder and more naive.

Funny how Disney is still pumping out content featuring the original animated Ariel version, whereas not a single sight of the live action version.
That's probably because it hasn't started filming yet due to Corona.

@@ryantheanimator1156 I get what you're saying. Disney's been very money hungry regarding these remakes. However, as someone who's always LOVED both the original film and TV series, I'm curious to see how they're gonna spin the story this time around.

Jermaine Carter it’s not called money hungry it’s called we have so much more technology now and knowledge to make movies even better than before effect wise and they wanna use that resource cause it’s crazy what we can do now compared back then

Mermaids like Ariel are really cute especially the Mermaids from Anime like Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch. Do you agree? In Mermaid Melody, I really like Luchia, Hanon, Rina, Coco, Karen, Noel, Sara and Sierra in their Mermaid Forms. They look much more cuter in their Mermaid Forms. Agree?

Sorry to say but you drew Jasmine with Ariels hair. Ariel do not have eyes like that.
