I unironically love this game :'). Played it loads when i was a teenager then a bought a cheap wii couple if years ago and this was one of the first games i bought for it!
Hello this is a year on but same! I used to play the shit out of this game as a kid, I loved it! It's been with me through a lot of trauma and I've never truly forgot it and actually managed to get a Wii and emergency heroes working. It's amazing
@Denam Even Leon had cop experience, even if it was just for a day. Like he literally had JUST graduated from the cop academy, and transferred himself to the R.P.D., but at least Leon finished his cop training upon becoming a rookie cop, and while sure he had most likely the worst first day as a cop ever, at least he was a cop. This guy just drives around, destroying things, and also, his boss is apparently played by Morgan Freeman.
I have this game. I think it's a "stupid fun" kind of game. But I did enjoy the irony that as the "hero," I was killing hundreds of innocent bystanders. Sure, they have voice clips of the people you hit complaining you scratched their paint. But I'm pretty sure after a 100 mph head on collision, they'd look like an exploded can of stewed tomatoes.
My parents bought me this one Christmas, not because I was wanting it but just because they knew I had a Wii and thought I’d like it. Plus it came with a wheel to put the remote in and they fell for the gimmick. I’d not heard of it at the time. I started to play it, realised it was awful within about a minute and just played a little to humour them. I never touched it again.
After years of listening to you guys do the act, I am finally compelled to ask: Did Peter and Ben ever spend some time together playing Friday the 13th on PC back when it was popular and hadn't been killed off yet? Because that whole "Master, yes Master" robot voice that you guys do was an act I once met two guys performing on that game one night and it had me and my friends in absolute stitches the entire match. Funnily enough, I too was clowning around that night with a voice called "La Chappa" and kept crashing the cars whilst shouting "My glasses, my glasses are fogged up, I can't see" in a geeky voice. Hopefully you remember me but if not, just know that I definitely remember you guys and that night will forever live in my memory as one of the funniest online experiences that I have ever had and for that I thank you both!
Conceptually this is like "Burning Rangers" with a light dusting of "Urban Chaos: Riot Response." And that is a VERY WEIRD combination. And good LORD, those character portraits look like the kind that are on Wikipedia articles where an action has to be shown. They're drawn so "normal," they wind up looking inhuman.
At the end of the day, this is just London Racer: Police Madness with better graphics and a budget. This is the game Davilex wish they could make. "THIS IS YOUR THIRD WARNING! YOU'RE COMING WITH US!" 😂
This game looks like a slightly cell shaded version of an early PS1 futuristic police title called Crime Killer. I only had the demo but played it all the time.
One of my favorite series ever on TH-cam. So glad it has always made the transition from channel to channel. Like spike everyone, to ensure WGE never leaves!
I played this a lot as a kid, absolutely loved it as I was and still am obsessed with the emergency services, cannot believe that was a whole 14 years ago now 😨
I've been binging WGE for the last couple of days and this is the first game I've seen in this series that actually looks kinda playable. I'm sure the Wii controls ruin it, but it doesn't *look* terrible
Weirdly for a Wii game (that was made to be a budget game no less) the controls were actually fantastic, very nimble and responsive, you could flick the car anywhere and it would steer as intended, making the actual driving aspect satisfying, probably the only wii racing game outside of mario kart to manage this. Just a shame the rest of the game is rather empty, and therefore dragged the scores down to the point that it’s on this series…
oh my god, i used to play this game all the time round my mates house. I can still remember him explainng it to me on the way to a friends party, memory unlocked.
Had to pause this after the "grandma" bit at the beginning. Because I had a thought. And nothing will be more uncomfortable to me today than the thought of someone's grandma... playing with their "Wii".
Think this was around the time Ubisoft bought them, and just had them work on crappy Wii and DS games before letting them make Driver San Francisco. And then let them fade into obscurity again. A shame they haven't made another Driver.
Peter, a Rescue Heroes game would've been much better. They also made VHS movies that came with the action figures and play sets. I haven't watched them since i was a kid but the voice acting and overall plot was much better than this
I spent years becoming a nurse, according to this game that means I also know how to put out fires and do police work! Seem's its all pretty much the same thing lol Who knew!
I actually like this game. I apologise for nothing… Seriously though, the motion controls for driving actually felt like effort had been put into them, they were always tight and responsive, probably the only racing game for the Wii that actually managed to implement the controls in a usable way
Woo I sent this in haha, my sister sold me her game collection and this was one of them.
Thank you, Kez.
I unironically love this game :'). Played it loads when i was a teenager then a bought a cheap wii couple if years ago and this was one of the first games i bought for it!
Same. I used to play this game way back in 2009 when i rented it from a library. Loved it back then. Takes me back.
@@Boogie_the_cat oh yeah. The early 2010s were totally “The Time”.
Hello this is a year on but same! I used to play the shit out of this game as a kid, I loved it! It's been with me through a lot of trauma and I've never truly forgot it and actually managed to get a Wii and emergency heroes working. It's amazing
you a truly an emergency hero 🚒
@@eatmywords emergency hero gang has risen!
>nobody has the training he has
>he never finished training
Sounds legit to me lol
@Denam Even Leon had cop experience, even if it was just for a day. I can't help but think the "Emergency Heroes" are the real villains in this city.

Emergency Heroes? More like Emergency Zeros that blow the entire city up for no freakin' reason just to play with a guy's- I'm not gonna say it.
21:38 This game is such a nightmare you have to navigate the carpet from The Shinings’ hotel
This is good when your family members misbehave and you must ... correct them.
"The Billy" was amazing! I can only imagine what James Jenkins would do if you actually paid him.
I just realized that the TTJ Plays Every Launch game series should have been called First Games Ever.
Was it worst than most?
Oh man, I used to play this every time I went to my friends house and I absolutely loved it at the time

A world in which the authorities use lethal force for the crime of speeding? I think dystopia is the word they want, not utopia.
The Burnout 3 overlay got me in a belly laugh. Love the comedic edits and this series as a whole ❤️
I dont even know why "specific rim" made me laugh so much
Funny thing is, if remade by Criterion, it could be a decent Burnout spin-off.
Hahaha The Bill opening was just 👌🏼
I can also confirm that in Scotland we call it a Nintendo Small™️
The Bill theme suddenly reminded me how old I am, thanks guys!
great vibes on this episode. you guys were in your element. also ngl this game looks kinda sick
Conceptually this is like "Burning Rangers" with a light dusting of "Urban Chaos: Riot Response." And that is a VERY WEIRD combination.

Bank holiday + worst games ever = best of times
At the end of the day, this is just London Racer: Police Madness with better graphics and a budget. This is the game Davilex wish they could make. "THIS IS YOUR THIRD WARNING! YOU'RE COMING WITH US!" 😂
For Peter's Scotland joke, we would have also accepted the punchline "The Nintendo Pish".
How does no one have the training he has but he's not finished training? Does this mean every hero is still in training XD
Guys. The cop-show intro was absolutely exquisite!
It's called "the bill". It was a British institution in the 90s.
This game looks like a slightly cell shaded version of an early PS1 futuristic police title called Crime Killer.
I only had the demo but played it all the time.
This seems like a game I would have loved when I was 9 or 10
One of my favorite series ever on TH-cam.
So glad it has always made the transition from channel to channel.
Like spike everyone, to ensure WGE never leaves!
Omg I played this as a kid. I'm glad my parents had great taste
I remember this game, I used to play this many years ago. So much nostalgia from this video. Thank u guys for making this video ❤👏👏
This explains a lot about why cops in my area never show up. They’re too busy drifting and jumping over obstacles to build up their hero points!
20:54 Uh, I'm pretty sure Superman does much worse damage by himself lol I never understood those memes
31:05 this scene and your reaction made me laugh so hard because I to thought the same thing but found it interesting
Now I'm going to have 'The Billy' theme stuck in my head all night, thanks lads!
Seen a video the other day saying this was one of the most underrated Wii games... I think it was rated accurately low.
“That’s how we get Grandma back” 😂
At first, I confused this with Emergency Mayhem, that's also released on the Wii. I wonder if these guys have covered that game yet?
Wii needed a hero, and Peter was just the perfect fit.
I played this a lot as a kid, absolutely loved it as I was and still am obsessed with the emergency services, cannot believe that was a whole 14 years ago now 😨
Does anybody remember the episode where Peter said something about “ don’t look at me you dirty Jenkel” ?
no kid, hence why you got no likes or comments
That 'Takedown' edit was superb
I've been binging WGE for the last couple of days and this is the first game I've seen in this series that actually looks kinda playable. I'm sure the Wii controls ruin it, but it doesn't *look* terrible

This new Michael Bay movie looks great!
Cyberpunk 2077 on the Wii went better than the ps4 version...
Was that the carpet from The Shinning?
I played the shit out of this game when I was 7 and enjoyed it😂
I’ve got extreme nostalgia for this game. One of the first few games I got with the family Wii back in 2008 along with Metroid prime 3 and mario kart.
woah, the hotel had "The Shining" carpet, nice touch!
oh my god, i used to play this game all the time round my mates house. I can still remember him explainng it to me on the way to a friends party, memory unlocked.
“Its just the one Jeff, actually.”
Ha, I understood that reference
I just saw you guys passed the 10k FB goal! Currently at 10,073! Congrats!!🥳
I used to love that Tonka search and rescue game
Rescue Heroes... Aren't they just Thunderbirds with fewer cool spaceships?
The station/garage legit looks like the Hero Factory building
Had to pause this after the "grandma" bit at the beginning.
Because I had a thought. And nothing will be more uncomfortable to me today than the thought of someone's grandma... playing with their "Wii".
I can't believe you guys forgot about Team America and them heroically saving Paris from terrorists.
Goddamnit, I accidentally clicked on the notification for this video and now I’m stuck watching y’all play this shitty game.
All 36 minutes.
this game was my childhood, loved every second of it
31:49 "Caria Manor" LMAO.
I noticed one of the places in the hospital rescue had the outlook hotel carpet
Ahh The Bill, what a bizarre blast from the past
This is like a Wii version of Crackdown. But only in a car. And bad.
Im surprised nobody was "whippin it" when they caught Dee-Vo
Amber Hellibels opening sounds better
Reminds me on team America world police. You're about as good as them haha
Love that 90s cop intro!
I am sad and astonished to learn that Reflections ever made a bad game
Never mind, it looks a lot more fun than Shadow of the Beast.
Think this was around the time Ubisoft bought them, and just had them work on crappy Wii and DS games before letting them make Driver San Francisco. And then let them fade into obscurity again. A shame they haven't made another Driver.
Ever played Driver 3…😂😂
I finished this game, it was "fine" but even the NFS offshoots on the Wii were better.
You have sufficiently guilted me, I finally followed on Zuck space.
The main theme is a bop. That's all I got out of it when I played it back in the day.
When did Ben get a tattoo?
I loved this game when i was a kid but unfortunately i don't have a wii anymore but i would buy a wii just so i could play this game again
“Worst games ever”, excuse me! Ayo this was my favorite game back when the wii was slappin😂💀
guys i had this on in the background playing overwatch and once i heard the theme from the bill i fucking lost it, fucking gold
It's like a budget version of chase HQ.
Well I would follow you on Facebook, but I deleted that dreck 6 years ago.
This would have made a good Crackdown prequel
Keep up the good work!!
You never showed us the alternate paint jobs or the unlocked images 🤷♂️
Agreed
Peter, a Rescue Heroes game would've been much better. They also made VHS movies that came with the action figures and play sets. I haven't watched them since i was a kid but the voice acting and overall plot was much better than this
Just 2000 more people to like the page on facebook then they can stop asking us to like their facebook page! So close!
Unironically want this game on disc to enjoy on my Wii U
Is this the first game they have played with a negative reception? I feel like all the other games have been "mixed".
I played this game millions of times when I was little I only lied when u unlocked the faster police car or the motorcycle
No comment on the Shining carpet in the hotel!??!
I spent years becoming a nurse, according to this game that means I also know how to put out fires and do police work! Seem's its all pretty much the same thing lol Who knew!
I started buying every bad game you guys play.
Nintendo Small in Scotland, quality dad pun 🤣
21:37 overlook hotel carpet
I think you guys were meant to have the controller plugged into the Wii Steering Wheel accessory, that's why the controls felt so wonky.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
Hilarious video guys and liked/followed on FB 👍
15:00 is….is that who I think it is? Cause if so this is not what I meant when I said I want to hear more of him.
The guy on the background remind someone Peter Quill Alias Star Lord.
Just a bit darker than be red colored.
I actually like this game. I apologise for nothing…
Seriously though, the motion controls for driving actually felt like effort had been put into them, they were always tight and responsive, probably the only racing game for the Wii that actually managed to implement the controls in a usable way
At roughly 21:35 the carpet from the shining can be seen
used to main this game when i was 7. Good times
9:57 lol
Eh! I think I got two references😜
i loved this game back in the day when i was about 8 years old lol
Here’s my question: who (other than grandmas) even HAS Facebook in 2022?!?!
That’s just embarrassing.
When does a dream become a nightmare?
Thank you BP
