I was so impressed with this parade -- why can't we have something like this. Tokyo is just a beautiful park with wonderful attractions WDW is not up to it's old standards and it really shows!
Nothing the Disney Company does is up to it's old standards. Tokyo is not owned by the Disney Company. The major stakeholder is the Oriental Land Company and they manage the parks to the standards that Disney taught them back in the 80s. I was there in July and the Tokyo parks are amazing.
@mikesweeney3767 so then it's an unfair comparison. Of course the tokyo parks are better if that's all the companies have to worry about.
They’re too cheap to pull something off like this. The only park I could see maybe getting something similar is Disneyland paris. There entertainment department is the best imo.

What they have updated:
1. They add back the Tinkerbell float
2. The Frozen float voice lines' have been added back again.
3. They add back the dancers on each segment of the parade (Prob because of the Covid is not a thread anymore)
Absolutely beautiful! Wow, what a difference between parks in Japan and the USA. Sad that Disney World isn't keeping up.
11:14 I found it funny to see Genie as Peter Pan considering Robin Williams, the voiced of Genie, played Peter in Hook
This is the BEST parade…Please Disney bring this back to Walt Disney World!
I’m obviously not complaining but I was stunned to see just how much English is used in the Tokyo parks. This show is gorgeous and it’s so nice to see it!
I wish I’d had an opportunity to see this parade in person. It’s so much fun, bright and nostalgic. Seems like I’m always on the wrong coast! Lol. Now that I live near wdw, who knows when I’ll get the chance to go to Disneyland again.maybe though, I’ll be able to go to Tokyo. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

that's where it was *ORIGINALLY* intended for, but they decided to refurbish Spectromagic instead, yes, Florida could have had *THIS* in 2001

Haven’t been there but from what I’ve seen no other Disney park can match the magic Tokyo is willing to make. The rides, the merch, the food, the parades and shows are true Disney. WDW should be ashamed they aren’t putting out at this creative level. Amazing.

Tinkerbell, Pixies, and Dancers are back
I wish that for Disneyland, 70th anniversary in 2025 they would retire the original electrical parade and rebirth it similar to this. That would be a great way to maintain the spirit of an electrical parade while paying homage to the original just like they did in Tokyo. It would also be a great part of the celebration
The people in Disney World can only hope that one day the people in Tokyo decide to bring a new nighttime parade and throw away these floats, then at that point they might bring them to Disney World like they did when they brought Festival Of Fantasy. Disney World is like the old lady that kept on having money without asking for anything in return. That’s why people are deciding to vacation in other theme parks, because the Magic Kingdom in Florida, being the most visited theme park on Earth is a total disgrace compared to any of the other Magic Kingdoms, including the original one in California!

is it just me or did they add more street performers than there were pre-Covid?
They started to bring back the parade Dancers back now. That's why. Covid is no longer a threat to the world

Why is the Japanese Parade in English? Do they have separate viewing areas with the English version piped in?
Well some floats have English dialogue some have Japanese dialogue
