It feels so weird seeing Goof Troop on the underrated list. It was incredibly popular in Brazil back then and still holds a special place in many peoples hearts around here
SNES one of (if not, the) best consoles ever made in my eyes. I remember playing one or two of these titles and having a blast when they released. I do miss and love the game PLOK. Gave it a friend in 1993 and sure he will give it back to me any day now

I'm not proud that your voluptuous waifu thumbnails are so effective on me, but well played, sir. Well played. Also excellent video as always. This channel is what's truly criminally underrated.
Wait?! You are still here wasting your time for not getting your hands on that voluptuous waifu instead of visiting the hell?! There is a place we worship to go hell. Where rule=34 exist.
Absolutely great game choices. I'll admit seeing the Goof Troop game was curve ball, but it's fitting, playing that with my cousin growing up still sticks out in my brain lol
@@thatvideogamesshowI recently got a collection of SNES games and was testing them all out. I thought goof troop would be one that I sell or donate, but as soon as I played the first level I knew it was built different
Soul Blazer looks REALLY awesome! Never heard of it, and now it’s one I definitely plan to play on the SNES. Goof Troop is another I’ve heard nothing but great things about, but never really got around to it. I’ll have to try playing that one with my daughter for co-op. Great highlighted picks and video as always man!
Goof Troop and Zombies Ate My Neighbors make absolutely NO sense in this list. Also, it is right that SFC exclusives are underrated, you provided a couple of examples and I will as well: Treasure of the Rudras and Super Robot Wars
This is a ‘hidden gems’ reel that was made for me. I’m a ride or die SNES lover and never heard of most of these games and they look really good too. Going to have to try them out, especially Doremi.
I actually liked Soul Blazer from what I played. I only played it on emulator though, it's one of the more expensive SNES games if I recall. Battle Tycoon looks kind of fun! I may have to seek it out. Also, slightly off topic, but I liked the song you picked during the Lufia part! It sounds familiar though I can't place where I've heard it from.
"Lufia" was the first game that came to my mind. I rented it and enjoyed the hell out of it in the short time I had it... then forgot the title and it was at least a decade before I figured it out (thanks to the internet; hard to track down when you forget the title, which is why I kept trying off and on before I finally hunted it down). I still haven't sat down and beaten it but it's on my to-do list.
These were some great underrated Super Nintendo games. I would love to see Doremi Fantasy Milon's DokiDoki Adventure on modern gaming consoles. Cool video. ^_^
You need to talk about all the Japanese to English fan translations. Because there were tons of great SNES games that came out but never were in English.
Was thinking Doremi reminded me a lot of the early Kirby games, but as soon as that sun and moon showed up it was pretty clear inspired by them, to say the least
Well normally I pass on videos like this as it's the same games or not very well produced or descriptions of games. That said this is an excellent video with gameplay footage, excellent descriptions of the games, and a mix of Super Famicom and SNES games. Well done, very well done.
Oh boy, some of the other underappreciated Super Famicom games are Treasure Conflix, Power Soukoban, Sutte Hakkun, Super Famicom Wars, Hameln no Violin Hiki, all the Goemon games, Chaos Seed, Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof, Magical Pop'n, and Front Mission: Gun Hazard just to name a few. For some that actually left Japan, there's Pop'n TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventures, The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang, Hagane, Wild Guns, Ninja Warriors, and Metal Warriors.
Fantastic list. I loved Soul Blazer and Lufia back in the day. My friend loved Shadowrun as well. I would add 7th Saga to this list. It wasn't very popular but it was a great RPG and had character/party dynamics never before seen at the time.
Milon's secret castle had a sequel? Didn't know that! I was thinking that doremi thing was similar until you said the hero's name. In the nes was a really hard game.
love watching your videos! you always have the cherriest, most beautiful versions of the console available. plus, your summations on the games themselves are well fleshed-out, and always lend a level of understanding that allow the potential player to make an informed decision when diving in. kudos!! ❤
Happy to see good trop, Doremi fantasy and Battle taycoon flash hiders on the list, Rudra no hihou is a good rpg choice as well. Another great game nobody talks about is Ganpuru gunmam proof is you like Legend of Zelda and zombie ate my neighbors, you'll love it...
The thumbnail certainly proved a popular one. SNES hidden gems and the like are always something I'm cautious about, as the games featured are often one's that never released in PAL territories. Still, I look forward to seeing what gets shown off. 0:23 - Huh, never heard of Soulblazer before though I'm familiar with the other game's names. That said, I have little to no knowledge on Illusion of Gaia or Terranigma either, but I've at least heard them get talked about. 4:24 - Nice to see a co-op focused game included. I grew up with 3 brothers so games with co-ops are always a delight to see. 6:26 - Interesting choice of name? For a second I thought Rollercoaster Tycoon had a shocking spin-off here. 6:52 - That betting system sounds really cool. I'm surprised I haven't heard of another fighter trying to do that. The closest I can think of is Smash for Wii U, where you increase the difficulty but increase the rewards. 11:54 - So a bubbles as platform mechanic but for an entire game. That and it's vibrant artstyle that pops out the screen certainly gives Doremi here plenty of charm. On a similar note of a cute and vibrant game, I would recommend Magical Pop'n for a future SNES focused video.
I wish if i get soul blazer in the past:( the game looks so interesting :) one of the designers of Goof Troop is Shinji Mikami, who worked in the old resident evil games. This is why Goof Troop has hard, interesting puzzles like the old resident evil games

Slow down, the most hated thing on snes. Actually slow down help you as a player you get more time to react to everything. There are many modern games which have a slow down button so for your character. This gives you like an advantage if you need it in a certain situation.

Metal Warriors, I hope that gets remastered for both current consoles and pc like Zombies Ate My Neighbors/Ghoul Patrol got.
