Awesome - that Alk is high - thing is if you have an emergency and need to do a big water change this will mix up super fast if you have RO - could save your tank. I've never heard of it. I have the Tropic Marin reef salt and that mixes pretty nicely - will have to time it to see how fast it goes clear ;)
Sam, I know this is an old video, but can you remember where the idea that the French version was better came from? I was going to switch to IO based on a bunch of testing from the US and the long term experience of people there using the salt, but if the French one is different then none of that applicable annoyingly!
@@ParkersReef they have members night once a month. Price is good. Also they are only ones to have a synergy overflow in my area (i live in kilcoy QLD)

Was word at the time that the french origin salt had better parameters than the alternative. If that is still the case or not, who knows sadly
Ocean Reef Aquariums in Perth is my favourite lfs and I’m going to get a nice fish from them on Sunday

100% Reef Safe in Brisbane is my favourite LFS.
I never get 11 mines always between 8-9.80 but my cal is low like 300 don’t get why
oh that is an odd mix?
Do you have a two spot hog fish in your tank
Aquariums Down Under indeed I do
How reef safe is it because my lfs were saying that they probably weren’t
Not safe with shrimp and possibly snails.
I might end up giving it a shot because I have no stump but I do have snails I’ll just have to see how the hawkfish does that I’m getting in Sunday
@@AquariumsDownUnder Id say a hogfish is about as risky as a hawk. But that's just my experience :)
