@@fearthebeard.outdoors1189 I'm put off by everything including the lack of speedometer in my line of sight. I purchased a 2023 Mini Cooper SE L3 in Dec 2023 and converted the front + rear bumper, rear spoiler and alloy wheels to the LCI2 JCW. Looks incredible in all black. So many confused faces at the public chargers 😅 I'll publish a short video in the coming weeks.

Most notably killing the manual transmission. Heartbreaking.
Truthfully my only serious complaint with the new car.
@@TheMINIac - Yes, I would agree. All things considered, the updates are fine. But, the lack of a manual option is going to be hard to overcome.
F56 all day long for me.
When you like something, and they change it, the first reaction is to hate the change. On it's own it looks awesome!

The convertible hasn’t been unveiled yet. But it retains the F57 taillights if that helps for some out there.

Happy to have one of the last JCW (2021 LCI2) with manual and analoge gauge, but my dealer has some interesting offers for the new one 🤔
Looking at the nose I really feel they should have left the lower front look the same. I am totally fine without the fake hood scoop on current models ( I know a lot aren't) but really like the more aggressive lower front on the current model S than that smooth look. Only issue out back, and just applies to the S, is lack of exhaust being visible. Totally fine with how they look for the less than S models but S and JCW deserve a little more aggressive looks than those models that aren't. Just my thoughts.

I am a new Mini owner. I have a 2024 JCW convertible and I absolutely adore it. It's my "mid life crisis" car. I have seen many minis on the road and always thought they looked cute and peppy. I especially loved the convertible and am so happy I finally have one. It is like driving around a go kart with stiff steering and the JCW's pep is amazing. I just returned from a week spent driving my Mini through the Smoky Mountains National Park.
I love my Mini, but I'm not sure if I am a fan of the 2025. I like the sporty look of my JCW. The 2025 looks a little plain/bland. However, I do love the new round full console. That is the only thing that I wish my current Mini had. I am sure others will absolutely love the new Mini. But for now I am so HAPPY with Miss Bitty Blu. She is so much fun!
Before I bought my Mini I went through all of your's and other Mini enthusiasts videos on TH-cam. I knew how to run all of the little gadgets on my car before I even bought her. Thank you for your enthusiasm and detailed information on the Minis. You are a great ambassador for the brand!
Find a new F56 S, especially a 6 speed, on a Mini Dealer's lot while you still can.
I like it very much. I am waiting for my F66 BRG/WHITE JCW trim and I am more than sure for my choice.

The interior and tail lights are not my favorite 🥺 compared to the older model 😊 . Still awesome to have another coupe on the road these days.
Just can't get used to new look of the rear of the new f66, looks to much like a KIA soul to me.
I don’t honestly see how. I’ve seen a Kia Soul and they look nothing alike from the back. Genuinely, no similarity I can see.
Thanks for the comparison,..... to my poinion the front Headlamps of the F 66 looks more MINI , the postion of the headlamps are more steeper and the shape rounder than the of the F 56 , whereas the F 56 has more kind a Jaguar E Type MK1 headlamp look.

needs more R53/56. Or seeing one w/bonnet stripes. Seeing the round center screen makes me think of HAL9000 and it's big red 'eye'... "Hello Dave" ⭕. I could see ppl applying a Minion face to the screen (assuming you can load your own) or any number of round things ⚾, 🏀, ⚽, 🥎, 🎾, 🎱, 🎯.... the possibilities are nearly endless 🤔, 😳, 😂
It's great to see the MINI return to its roots and shake off all that clutter it built up over the last few generations. A very clever mix of 1959 and futuristic design.

They don’t. They’re shaped differently. But I’m sure someone will make an aftermarket retrofit version that’ll fit the F56.
Soooo, basically no new changes on outside. On the plus side, it is hard to perfect such a great design.
They made a lot of changes but I’m pleased in your eyes they’re subtle. 👍🏻

Nozzles are now concerned in the cowl. Makes it easier to do bonnet stripes and wraps now.

The JCW variant isn’t out yet. MINI.co.uk allows you to configure a Cooper S with the JCW exterior which gives you a slight idea of what the new JCW will look like. I could see it at a race track at that point.
If I wanted minimalism I would have gone for a bicycle
I think it looks great. Idk about taking away the center console switch area as while I am driving, I like to be able to easily switch between things with my resting right hand. Shame we won't get the EV model until 2027 though.

Believe me, it’s rather more the first and last full EV Mini Cooper ! EVs can not convince the market, despite all attempts to persuade car buyers. The mere fact that BMW is doing the combustion engine version on its own, and sharing the unwanted EV platform in a joint venture with chines companies tells volumes..!
It should be the One or Cooper but not the S. If Mini wants to sell more JCWs remove the S from the portfolio.
They removed the One. They're all called MINI Cooper now for the hardtops, cabrios. The Cooper may get pulled from the US market at some point just leaving the Cooper S and the Cooper JCW but that has not been confirmed.

Thank God, i bought my Mini Cooper S F56 in 2017 brand new like i wanted it. This New Model looks like Crap no pipes in the back, interior pretty shitty, not sporty anymore at all !

The only good thing about this car are the mirrors. It's like people don't want us to be happy anymore, car manufacturers acting like frustrated parents who want their kids to have miserable lives.
Given the collapse of EV sales, I wonder if lawmakers and therefore carmakers will reconsider this forced transition to electric cars.
BMW is looking into hydrogen power while Porsche is looking at synthetic fuels.
