Hearing Burnie's voice and seeing that he's writing again really means alot. After this trailer, I gotta watch every season of RVB now, well, the First to Chorus Trilogy. Edit: You know this maybe late but I wonder if in this season they will bring up the missing AI Xi.
This was probably the smartest way to recon the newer seasons while still giving the seasons a meaningful reason for existing as a personification of Church's desperation to know the Reds and Blues will be okay. Excited to see what Burnie has instore of us!

Seasons 16-18 I get because they went too crazy with gods and time travel. But season 15 was pretty tame all things considered. Plus the whole “Simulation troopers from Project Freelancer seeking revenge on the UNSC” was a cool plot overall. We all know the Reds and Blues of Blood Gulch weren’t the only sim troopers out there, and there had to be ones that were pissed enough at the UNSC to seek revenge when they eventually found out they were cannon fodder.
Thank you for the way you handled retconning Zero. Everyone's happy it's retconned and me and the few Zero fans are happy you retconned it in a respectful way. Said what you needed to and moved on.
I am glad they called it cool. If it had of been a full on spin off with no connections to the original, something the same vein as the freelancer saga, I think it would have been better received.
@@PhantomSpyder2099 It's canon to an extent. I'd say it's canon as a simulation Epsilon came up with that he just came up with for fun since he loves trashy action movies (said in the Death Battle episode). @SlipspaceEntertainment they milked it dry.
When this trailer dropped I started rewatching the series. Just got back to that famous final scene and gonna jump into the spin-off seasons next. Here’s to anyone else starting the grind to the final season!
Up to season 13
Just finished Season 10, myself.
I saw this vid like 3 days ago and I've already finished s14
Up to Season 10. I'm excited to see where this goes.
Don't, you found the right stopping point. They don't exist
As Dr. Seuss once said, “don’t be sad it’s over. Be glad it happened.”
I will miss this show, but I’m glad I got the chance to watch and enjoy it
Damn straight
So we really are going with Seasons 14-19 being simulations.
I mean I'll take it. This isn't about correcting wrongs, this is about finality.
If we're going to bring Church back, let's have him go out proper.
Ain't that right, Burnie?
This is season 19

Some of those episodes were prequels
Or stories of other characters
Season 14 already was half canon half not canon

Im crying for real right now. RvB has held such a prominent place in my heart for years and years now. Im sad to see it end but I’m glad that it’s going back to it’s peak and closing off Church’s story. I hope all the guys can come back for this final installment even if it’s only for a short time.
It feels unnecessary, because we already had a sequence of Caboose opening a whole time portal just to talk with him. This feels like backtracking.

All that aside, I'm deeply saddened from the fact they're gone and will miss this, I still remember the Halo 3 and Arby n The Chief days.
Hearing Burnie's voice and seeing that he's writing again really means alot. After this trailer, I gotta watch every season of RVB now, well, the First to Chorus Trilogy.
Edit: You know this maybe late but I wonder if in this season they will bring up the missing AI Xi.

Let's end this on a high note. The way it was meant.
The way it deserves.
To be fair, it was meant to end after Chorus. This way Burnie and Matt can make sure it ends without leaving a sour taste in everyones mouth.
That OG riff at the end with Burnie? Damn dude. I haven’t had chills like that in a long time
This was probably the smartest way to recon the newer seasons while still giving the seasons a meaningful reason for existing as a personification of Church's desperation to know the Reds and Blues will be okay. Excited to see what Burnie has instore of us!
They always did say they'd keep making it until no one wanted it anymore; Glad to see them come back the way they supposed to, and I can't wait to see how the longest running web series comes to its end.
That Gus quote is something I will always remember as soon as I see or remember RvB, knowing what he said will never be true. It was always going to end before Gus and the other originals go on their pension.
@@ReachStudioProit echoed in my head the moment I heard the news. And Burnie's bravado about being old in the booth

I appreciate how every instance of Church has a moment of desperate iteration trying to get things right. Season 3 with the time-loop, Director with Tex, and Epsilon with this. Really works so well for the character. Excited to see what comes out of this season.
I like how they reconned season 14-16 as just simulations. Also I love how they are wrapping back around to the aspect of memory and focusing on the AI stuff
17 + 18 too
So they retconned the one time Donut actually got to do something that mattered? Well, that sucks.
14 was the anthology season so really they are retconning seasons 15 - 18
@@caseydew6882 Yeah, the 14 stuff that took place before the series is still canon. 15-18 plus the non-prequel 14 stuff are all now retconned into being simulations
@@Savagewolver so we don’t count Zero as cannon anymore?
This also retcons the shinso paradox too
@@PhantomSpyder2099 It's canon to an extent. I'd say it's canon as a simulation Epsilon came up with that he just came up with for fun since he loves trashy action movies (said in the Death Battle episode). Similarly, seasons 15-17 are other simulations that Epsilon came up with. I'd say 15 is a more serious simulation but 16-17 could be Epsilon "losing the script" so to say.

So glad to see Church is back, so glad Burnie is the one writing this, and so glad they’re retconning these last few seasons (we can all agree those seasons weren’t very well written). Cannot wait to see how they go about wrapping up this show!!

Overall yeah season 15 I honestly keep forgetting it and 16 and 17 was goofy fun but a bit too goofy for where they're trying to go. 14 was filler background for the characters and my word sarge's background is all kinds of special and I love it.
This series was everything to me in middle school, to the point where I used Season 15 coming as an incentive to keep on going in my darkest times. I am terrified to see it go, that those times are over, and I’ll never see them all again. But I’m glad the series is getting the finale it deserves.

I'm glad to see Burnie & Matt are vocing, writing & directing this. The finale of the long running series.
I admit, i stopped after the last season of the new guys w/ just Wash & Carolina. I figured, "that was it. There's no more. It's fininished." Especially, after hearing what became of Caboose voice actor & burnie leaving RT.
It broke my heart hearing that news. Been a long time fan of the show since it first debuted on the internet. Back b4 YT existed.
I would share every new episode with my college buddies and we'd laugh and cry at all their dumb gags and antics. It was fucking brilliant. Even my parents still laugh at their humor.
I'm sad to see the show is coming to an end. But maybe, that's for the best. It's hard to let good things go, they carry the memories and the laughs & loves we attached to them.
But at that same time, it's best to let them end on their own terms. If they feel it's time to go, then let's give them one helluva send off.
Wait, what happened to the voice actor of Caboose?
@@AstinCrowIt was more than that, dont omit stuff. Another thing was when gavin and megs were stalked and had their house broken into he turned it into a gun debate.
