Plot: During the Tong Wars in the late 1800s, Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy from China, immigrates to San Francisco and becomes a hatchet man for the most powerful tong in Chinatown.

Warrior is such a good show. He captures the movement of Bruce Lee perfectly but also puts his own style to the character. The first 8 episodes are amazing because the progress is just incredible. First show with a full fledged Asian cast that are just amazing.

It’s not actually the first show like that. Marco Polo is pretty much 95% of Asian cast and also has AMAZING fighters (including the actress who played Ah Toy in Warrior)

I just watched “Warrior” season one today. Andrew is so spectacular to watch acting wise as well as martial arts wise. I am a new fan to this series.💯

I got hooked in the first 10 minutes of episode 1. All of these actors are Brilliant. I am from New York and I am a long time Bruce Lee fan. I use to go to CHINATOWN when I was a teenager and read subtitles to the movies so when they went from speaking Chinese to English in this series I thought that was so smoothly done.

I really like the comments about the difference between a true martial artist and a good fighter and I like how the fight with Li Young perfectly illustrates that personally I think as it stands he is the only “true martial artist” on the show I really hope HBO does the right thing
