Hey you. Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, get some exercise, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well! Stay safe and stay relaxed
Aloha and good morning 🌺☀️🌈I listen to these calming ocean waves as I do my meditation, TaiChi and QiGong. It helps me be one with myself, the air, the land and the ocean. I don’t live close to the coast of my island. So I stand here on the hill of my property and gaze in the distance of where I see the oceans edge. The beautiful serenity of my island home, makes me appreciate the life I have to live. I am 64 and live a calming life on my island of Hawaii. Have a Glorious Aloha Day☀️🌈🌺❤️
Wow. This one is right up with the best of them. The 'Best of them' are mostly yours, by the way. I'd like to lay on the sand right where the waves break over it. And now I'm going to tell you a little tale which, as Baron Munchausen said, "is nevertheless perfectly true". When I was about three years old, my father was the Air Base Commander at Albrook AFB, in Panama. He took a short holiday and took the family to Santa Clara Beach where we rented a bungalow for a few days. One day, my mother, father and I, were sitting on the beautiful, fine sand. Mom decided to take a walk down the beach by herself. Dad and I stayed behind. After a while, we heard a rustling in the brush behind us. Dad said, "Get on top of this rock, quickly." I immediately complied. The rock was volcanic, as most rocks are in Panama, and about the size of a dinner table. Suddenly, out from the brush poured thousands of little orange- red Crabs. Apparently, they had been foraging, somebody had punched a timeclock, and it was time to return to the sea. They literally covered the sand orange-red and parted around the rock on which we were sitting, all little sour faces and clicking claws. Eventually, the horde disappeared entirely into the waves. I was three then and I am seventy two now. This remains the most vivid memory of my life. I have been a painter for over fifty years but I have no idea how I could ever capture that on canvas. 😊
What an amazing story! There is something about the ocean and the seaside that can really touch your soul 💗🏝️ It must have been so incredible experiencing Panama with your family. Thank you for sharing, JO. Sending lots of love & sunshine to you 🌞❣️
@MyTranquilitee Thanks so much ! I'd love to send you a couple of images of my paintings, just for your enjoyment. When I have gone to High Schools and Middle Schools to give talks on Art and creativity, I tell the kids two things especially. One, your earliest memories are some of the clearest. Hang on to the good ones and they will help advise you on your course in life. Two, never give up on your creativity, however it may manifest in your life. It is a big part of your character and can never be taken from you unless you give it away. If you would enjoy seeing a couple of images, let me know and tell me how to send them. In any event, I will certainly continue to rest easily on one of your sites. Much love as well ! 😊
