Once you got over those 2 small islands in the reef it was easy enough to find the location on google maps, which I did before, dah, they put the name in the description, motu ahi was a little bit harder, great photography and amazing place, great subject, thanks so much for sharing!!

Been there six times. Hilton or maybe changed management now, is beautiful especially with the bar/looking down at the black tips at night while enjoying Crepes Suzette !!!Huahine is ok, and Bora bora has the lagoon which we always take the boat and go see manta rays. Fed the stingrays while black tips were circling us touching us. Been to Seychelles and every Caribbean isle and live on the French Riviera now but Moorea and especially some of the more remote islands are magical. There are beaches in Greece and Sardinia that are stunning....but not Tahiti !
There truly is something so magical about Moorea! The mountains... the wildlife... the color of the water. I swear it shines a bluer blue than I have ever seen before. Magnificent 🥰🥰 It must have been wonderful staying at the Hilton! Such a spectacular spot 🤗💗🏝

Wow this is beautiful and the added sound of waves is just perfect to have it playing in the background. I never thought it would be good for programming, but I am seeming to get in a groove on a lazy rainy Saturday morning in Chicago, sitting in the living room , listening to the wave, working on the laptop while sometimes glancing at this beautiful video. Thank you SO, so much for getting some footage of the Intercontinental as well as extensive looks around the motu. As I mentioned before we stayed at the Intercontinental for 9 days in September 2018 for my wife’s 50th birthday and went over to the motu twice during that time (as well as visiting many other places on Moorea. So sad intercontinental became a COVID casualty. Such a wonderful and beautiful resort, with great food and bar, Polynesian show, waterside dining, friendliest staff anywhere - I do hope it reopens some day. If not our best trip anywhere ever, it’s Top 3. Thank you again!

I was in moorea & bora bora 2018 . Seeing the beginning of this video makes me wish I'd travelled round the island of moored more than just on my private beach. Absolutely breath taking. But you only gave so many days split between here and bora bora. I needed longer than 2 weeks. Could just stay there forever

Somehow I don't think a drone could have picked the ocean sounds when its own prop noise would have overridden any other audio input. Still, it would be great if it was possible.

The red and white sailing catamaran name is Taboo. We are Voila Moorea company and we do private and shared snorkeling tours and sunset sailing cruises around Moorea !

Very serene and tranquil, but how does one pack some life into this far away and remote place? Does this have a small town with all the essentials, nearby? Can one find social life and cafes in the place that has the Hilton or are they mostly residences? Where is the nearest major city? In Hawaii or New Zealand? Does Tahiti have cafes and night life?The latitude is about the same as parts of Chile, so how is the weather in winters?
That's right! There are grocery stores and houses and little Airbnbs and hotels throughout Moorea. The neighboring island of Tahiti is a bustling capital with everything you may need 🥰🥰 This paradise, though, is definitely far from the next major land mass... roughly 8 hours from San Francisco and 7 hours from New Zealand! An amazing part of the world 💗🏝
@@MyTranquilitee Wow! I envy your life. You seem to spend most of your time on some of the most exquisite beaches in the world. Do you travel in a sailboat? 50 to 80ft? Can you find everything in Tahiti? Schools, colleges, cafes? How far is Hawaii?
Ah! I would love to live in a sailboat one day. Not yet sadly! Tahiti really is amazing, with schools yep and plenty of cafes and tasty food 🥰🥰 It is directly south of Hawaii by about 4400 km. Such a unique place! @@assetstopurchase8432
@@MyTranquilitee So, Tahiti has everything you need or do you need to go to New Zealand, California or Chile for that? You don't have a sailboat and, yet, you're primarily commuting between different islands resorts multiple oceans apart? What do you have? An amphibious aircraft;)
@@MyTranquilitee And do these places have soft, white sand or coral beaches that you can walk on without your shoes on? And waist-high, warm, crystalline waters that you can spend the entire days in without drowning or getting eaten up by sharks? The weather is never too cold to get into water? Is the property reasonably priced? Can you buy around a 10 to 100 acre plot with your own private beach?

I have a feeling sandbar if sharks and rays is tge area I stayed at think they were called sunset apartments but I remember reading the shark Ray area was if you swam out in front but was my first time before snorkeling so was scared. I cant wait go back ❤❤
