This vlog was awesome!! I loved the footage of the Indonesian mens doubles training wow the speed of those smashes look faster when it's not from birds eye view. It must be a bit stressful not knowing who you'll be playing since you can't analyze your opponents' game beforehand, excited for the next vlog thank you!

Great content! Really interested to see match prep, but also got a related question ... how many pairs are of a good enough standard of play but don't/havent made it to a televised event? No offence but I never heard of either of you before your channel, I'm wondering how many more people are between me and an all England title... Haha, thank you so much David! Well there's currently around 20 players in the doubles squad training at the National Centre, so there's probably quite a few more you've not heard of 😄 You have to be Top 32 in the world to consistently get into these World 500, 750 and 1000 events... So most of us slog it out on the European circuit until we can reach the top 32! 😆 (or wait for great opportunities like this where not all of the top players turn up!)

@@khairilanwar5484 agreed, im just so confused about the fact that 7 athletes from other countries who tested positives for covid get the privilege to retest on their hotel room and tested negative the NEXT DAY can participate in the tournament, but on the other side the indonesian team who are tested negative from THE VERY FIRST DAY UNTIL NOW, had to withdrawn from the tournament, like WTF bwf???

Finally, a badminton channel related to AE 2021 that isn't filled with toxic comments from Indonesian fans. I am Indonesian myself and I apologize for any negative comments directed towards AE, BWF, England as a country and even other athletes.

Unfortunately they were on the same flight as someone who tested positive. In England there is the law that if this happens, you must isolate for 10 days. Sad situation but necessary for the health & safety of the UK :(

Cause one fact I know is all Indonesian player are negatif covid..
I love football too anyway especially the European league, in football if there's some players get positif covid, then the only player who positif will do the isolation, and the negatif one still could play the game, this is according to mostly European league such as, England, Italy, Spain and other, these are the top 3 biggest leagues in Europe..
If we talking about the rule then the football must be a lot more strik than badminton, why because football there 11 players in each team, badminton the maximum player are only 2..
