Ty for not talking forever and getting to thepoint. Wish everybody would do that 👍
You are superb at giving clear, concise, and easy to follow instructions. Thank you so much.
Thanks! Glad it helped
Hi hi! I asked my husband if he remembered replacing his battery for his key fob. He didn't, and since he's away I had to do it myself. Your video was very easy to follow. I'm going to go test the key fob now.
It works perfect. Thanks much!
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
Thanks. Your video worked great. And I didn't damage the fob, like some other people I have talked to since!
Very clear instructions. Took me less than two minutes to change the battery. Thanks!
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
Thank you for the simple video. Worked perfectly. I did go ahead and lock/unlock with the fob and open/close my back hatch door with the fob just to make sure when I started it for the first time after changing the battery I no longer receive the notice to change my battery. 👍🏻 it worked
Nice! You're welcome!
It worked great when I finally put the screwdriver EXACTLY UNDER the battery after opening. I was trying everything to get under the outside edge of the battery. Once opened, look at the video screwdriver placement to get UNDER the battery. You need to access that point. Battery pops right out when done correctly!
Thank you!!!! Just replaced mine thanks to your video!
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
TY your video helped me do something my hubby used to do

Your directions were great.
The owner’s manual didn’t show to remove the pass key.
If only the You Tube video was as easy to get to, to like an make a comment. 😉

I've not gotten the message to change the battery, but it seems the effective distance for remote start and door lock/unlock has shortened considerably. Often, with the remote in my pocket, the door handle unlock button will not work. I've had the vehicle only 2 years but have now changed the batteries twice with Duracell 2032. Should the batteries be lasting a lot longer than about 12 months each?
It really varies so much - some fobs just burn through batteries quicker than others. The only thing that can really be done is to try to replace the fobs themselves but if you're getting about a year out of a battery change I don't think it would be worth it for you to do that.
Thanks brother 💪🏻👍
You're Welcome!
I really did it. Thanks to you video.💪🏻😈💪🏻

I replaced the battery, but the Yukon LED still showing the message saying I need to replace the battery. Is there a reset that I need to complete in the Yukon?
Not sure what the issue is - changing that battery should resolve the message
@@PYR-Auto I operated the key fob three times while keeping the key inserted and after that I did not see the message again. I did that after talking to some friends who have had the problem before. Not too technical but solve the issue.
I have the same issue whereas changing the battery and still having a notification saying I need to change the battery.
@@aarongarcia3836mine is doing the same thing! What process did you use? Are you saying you used the emergency key and then used the key fob a few times while using the emergency key? (That’s how I’m reading your comment)
Amen 👍🏻
Will the key need to be reprogrammed?
No
Hello
How to remove the GMC Terrain door lock cylinder
2020 From the outside without opening the lining.
For the purpose of making an emergency key. Please video 💐💐
We just bought a 2018 GMC Yukon XL and occasionally it won’t start. No instrument lights or interior or exterior lights will come on and the key fob won’t do anything. I disconnect the negative cable to the battery and wait about a minute to reconnect it, then everything works again. We are not sure why we are having this issue. Anyone have any ideas?
What you are here for starts at 0:50
I Open it with the key it self ---lol ---no tools needed .
