I love my ficus plants and most of them are doing well. What l needed to know mostly is the correct potting medium to put them in, and you have explained that well. I started with 2 of the large leafed green rubber plants, and have added 2 each of Ruby ones and 2 of Black Knight ones. Cheers Yyler.
I have five focus elastica and every spring I take them outside to sit under my awning of my backyard (west facing) and they thrive. In fact, this year alone, after putting them outside they shot up about six inches. I bring them in during late fall since we’ve had warm falls lately. And they go out as soon as temps stay above 55*F here. Haven’t had a single problem yet. 🤷♀️
@@TylerMossop I think so. I started doing this after I had purchased an ailing focus burgundy from Lowe’s. It was literally a stick and one leaf and over three years grew to almost five feet and bushy as can be. Sadly, one fall we didn’t bring it in soon enough and it began losing all its leaves and then died.😭 I was heartbroken because it was one I was especially proud of and often received compliments on.
I just got a ficus burgundy and it’s like a stick with all the leaves at the top. Maybe 5 leaves. Will leaves grow towards the bottom or should I cut the plant down and repot or leave it alone?
Never seen a indoor Forrest before love yours💚🌿😍🌴🌳🌲,can we take the plant outside for a shower in the 🌧️ rain to dust clean? Or gently wash with 💦 water hose?
Hello Tylor, thanks for sharing helpful information related to rubber plant. I have a rubber plant and its leaves seems to not be healthy, its leaves apex and margin is dried. I will appreciate if you provide me with helpful information regarding this. thanks.
I thought my house was bad with plants… 😂😂. Holy moly, fair enough to you, you’ve got a room full. I have a leaf of this plant that actually came from my great grandfathers house and it has grown roots but I don’t think it has any nodes to facilitate stem and foliage growth unfortunately. I might have to take a bit of stem off the main plant.

Hi Tyler. Is that a burgundy ficus?? I get confused about this color variation. I have a Tineke and Ruby. Thank you for your nice videos 😊
Thanks! I think so 😊

1. Where can I get bamboo stakes? 2. Unfortunately, the window I want to put it in is North facing :(
My
Ficus is getting too tall, is it okay to propagate them? How?
Same! I haven’t done a propagating video for these plants. Others have! I will consider making a video on this in the future 🙂
@@TylerMossop great!
