I feel like a reactionary superzook tech will do you wonders vs wermacht 8rads, especially with 2 zooks by 10 min. It would of at least made the difference in saving your sniper+killing the 8rad if you first teched it before getting your first scott. Especially with skipping Motor Pool and Tank Depot, using that fuel earlier for an easier early and mid would definitely help you maintain your lead. Im saying this as a person who has been experimenting with it in the current patch.
Kinda funny how I see people on reddit complaining that bazooka squads are utterly useless but then every time I see you play USF you run like three zooks and they perform great
In this very specific match case, the zooks worked mostly because of the opponent's incompetency...that 8 rad and panzer IV just idled there and got blasted. Suppose the opponent is more active, kitey and using vehicle more of a fire support role to the infantry instead of solo A-moving/capping without further care and micro, zook squads would be very akward in those situations.
I think zooks are too expensive at 280 for what they provide. Especially because when sitting in heavy cover they will shoot the cover with rockets very consistently. This leads to destruction of their own cover and inability to apply damage using their new range buff... heavy cover should be where they thrive, but instead they have to be used open cover and on the move.
Surprised you still pick the captain's arty over mark vehicle given how much the accuracy/ pen/ damage bonus helps the bazookas. In a few of your recent casts even heavy tanks just melt when they are marked. Funny how captain gets a free ability that in coh2 was the centrepiece of entire soviet commanders. It's so powerful.
his opponent went double MG + mortar and Tightrope chose WSC (so no mortar). IMO captain arty was the right choice this game, he just didn't get many chances to use it

The phos shell seems to collide with terrain before it reaches the target too often. They are OK though.

Yeah the mark vehicle is infinitely better this patch than the arty. Especially considering how much of a staple brumbar/tiger has become.

Pro tip for everyone:
Satchels now stick to MGs...
hey tightrope, correct me if im wrong i was wondering it looks like you could zoom out a little more isnt it optimal to play with max zoom out?
You can see I zoom out in the first 2 seconds of the game. Unless I reset the camera at some stage and forgot to unzoom again
I never see wehr use snipers. Why?
i use them against rangers
