this faq is nuts... wait, too soon? I torque my lug nuts in two stages. first with wheel suspended (not touching ground) I torque to half recommend or 50 lb-ft to ensure the wheel is on correctly and evenly. then with the wheel 80% on the ground, I finish with the final torque. is this more work, yes, and it may not be the most correct, but I feel more confident doing it this way....
