New higher resolution version of this video: • 2005 Pinocchio's Darin... All he wanted was to be a real boy. On this magical ride, Pinocchio gets his wish.
I will never forget being on this ride years ago when I was young, and my brother became so scared that he started wondering how we were gonna get out of the cage when we went into it, right after seeing Stromboli.
It was great, very fun. The choir and I also got to sing there, too, which was a good experience. My favorite part was when we did a workshop backstage. We recoreded a couple of songs there.
hahaha wow...I am amazed and glad people have uploaded these! Really jogging my memories from around 14 years ago! XD I don't remember the whale though but I remember the cage and wow....it was defiantly terrifying...come to think of it these "innocent" adventure type rides are probably the scariest x_x
I read the original 1883 story of "THE ADVENTURES OF PINOCCHIO" by Carlo Collodi and it's very different than Walt Disney's 1940 animated film classic. Believe me or not, but the original story tells the real Pinocchio who was not a lovable and playable marionette, he was just an innocent marionette who was naughty and disrespectful to others, but later he changes by learning his lessons and making sure he does the right things. Good ol' Pinocchio!
I just realize that I have to watch all Disney movies all over again... I can hardly remember Pinocchio. I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND IN 4 WEEEEEKS!!!!!!!!!
AMEN TO THAT! I miss Mr. Toad's wild ride, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Those were the best. But they really need to put some of these classic rides in there. We need to write a complaint LOL
A little bit before hand. I get more nervous when I perform for people I know, cuase I'm worried about what they think. I was really quite calm when I actually got up there.
no the winnie the pooh ride in wdw used to be mr toads wild ride. here in disneyland, they took out the country bear house and replaced it with a winnie the pooh ride as well.
i think 2,000 Leagues was paved over and replaced with that Winnie the Pooh tree. Gosh! what were they thinking! That's almost as bad as what they did to the Enchanted Tiki Room in Walt Disney World in Florida!
@lexilu94 Well I'm glad that WDW has some attractions that Disneyland doesnt have anymore. We still have the Peoplemover, Carousel of Progress, and Country Bear Jamboree. The only ride I wish they would bring back though was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
Stromboli, Monstro and the Coachman scare the *** out of the younger children who board this ride with their families. This attraction seems to bring my culture to life even though it was based on Carlo Collodi's book about Pinocchio himself. In the words of Jiminy 🦗, "Always let your conscience be your guide". 👍🏻 if you agree!
i know right? i really wish some CLASSIC Disney rides were in disney world. but instead, they choose to waste their money on attractions involving things such as hannah montana and high school musical. those won't be around forever, but Classic always will.
They used to have Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at WDW in Florida, but replaced it with the Winnie the Pooh ride, and the 20,000 Leagues under the sea was replaced with something else..I think it was the little mermaid..Ariel's Grotto. Those 2 rides were up when I was growing up, and Mr. Toad was replaced back in like 2002 or something like that.
i remember getting stuck near the fishbowl and we had to evacuate and i started touching everything and i sat in the chair for a second and touched the toys @ 3:31
i know this is a kids ride, but it always sort of scared the crap out of me. Like with the man trying to capture you and turn u into a donkey. not to mention the killer whale at the end.
I'm really upset with WDW now. All these neat rides based on the CLASSIC disney movies, and WDW in Florida doesn't have any of them. That's not nice! I will have to travel all the way across the country just to see these rides! Your videos are great! And I'm enjoying all of them!
it smells good in the fantasyland dark rides... like old wood. i know im a crazy person but it really does smell nice!!! monstro used to scare the poop out of me lol
how many times did u ride it? or you take two cameras? because the lines in fantasyland can go for ever!!!!! I cant wait to see your submarine nemo production!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
see, i've never been on any of those rides! i've never been to disneyland, only disney world, because i live on the other end of the country. We should right a complaint! lol :-)
I will never forget being on this ride years ago when I was young, and my brother became so scared that he started wondering how we were gonna get out of the cage when we went into it, right after seeing Stromboli.

It's cute any age.
These Disney "dark" rides are done so beautifully.
It's amazing how well they keep these maintained.
I went a couple weeks ago. It was great. My choir and I even performed there!!!!!
The music heard in Pinocchio's Daring Adventure is the same music featured in the 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo before a movie.
hahaha wow...I am amazed and glad people have uploaded these! Really jogging my memories from around 14 years ago! XD

He also gets hanged and kills Jiminey Cricket
Many Disney movies are based on old stories but 'disnified' for younger audiences
I love Pinocchio's Daring Journey is another one of my favorite Fantasyland attractions at Disneyland.
Wow !
The quality of this video is great....
This is a great ride!!! Can't believe it's not that popular compared to Peter Pan. It's awesome! Thanks for all the great videos!
It's cool when you full-screen the Monstro part because it's like a 3D effect, & it's all invisable (the black parts)
You are quite welcome, I am glad that you enjoy them! - RU
I've never really liked Pinocchio, but this ride is a classic.
i luv this ride and i cant wait to get on it next week
last time I went, the dancing Pinocchio wasn't there. Oh well, this is still my favorite Disney Dark Ride!
I remember my dad teasing the geppetto animatronic on this ride. "PINOCCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Gr8 video ru42. You always get the best rides.
this ride doesnt get the credit it deserves, becuz its actually a very fun and entertaining ride
Omg, at 2:52...scared the crap out of me XD....though I never went on this right cuz I never went to Disneyland; only Disney World
@mermaidamp - Happy 21 B-day Andrea. I think Disneyland is a great place to celebrate birthdays!
Thank you, ru42. It passed already which seemed to be 9️⃣ years ago. I agree with you.
Dark Rides are my favorites!
Thanks! I miss Mr. Toads Wild Ride, it was a fun ride.
I just relized that all the classic disney movies had good music in them. :D
excellent work ru42..keep em comin.
I just realize that I have to watch all Disney movies all over again... I can hardly remember Pinocchio. I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND IN 4 WEEEEEKS!!!!!!!!!
He meant the Nemo video was coming soon. Thanks for the video RU. Talk to you on VF sometime.
AMEN TO THAT! I miss Mr. Toad's wild ride, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Those were the best. But they really need to put some of these classic rides in there. We need to write a complaint LOL
This made me laugh and be scared at the same time.
This ride sure is a pure classic.
A little bit before hand. I get more nervous when I perform for people I know, cuase I'm worried about what they think. I was really quite calm when I actually got up there.

I rode this over 30 times when I was 4.

Jiminy had it right
yay! The Mona Lisa @ 2:21!
i know right? i really wish some CLASSIC Disney rides were in disney world. but instead, they choose to waste their money on attractions involving things such as hannah montana and high school musical. those won't be around forever, but Classic always will.
not everything is distrubing in that movie. Just te donkey part XD;
Hey ru42 are u ever gonna make more video's for the new rides like Star Tours 2? I love your videos and id like to see new ones
This Pinocchio ride video is at Disneyland (Anaheim CA. Disneyland also has Mr Toad's Wild Ride; WDW no longer has Mr Toads. - - RU
i like this ride the best...out of all the "dark rides" in Fantasyland in Disneyland
Toad was replaced back in like 2002 or something like that.
the reason why everything is so big in the park(the one on the ride)is because it wants you to feel like one of the kids just in case you didnt know.
1:47 the Fox and the Hiccupping Cat are at Pleasure Island too
lol no in florida, fantasyland has a winnie the pooh hundred acre woods children's play area, that's what's where 20,000 leagues used to be.
on my 18th birthday im gonna be like a 5 year old again xD
they have this ride && Snow Whites&& Peter Pans.
The only ride that I can think of that they dont have that Cali does is Mr.Toad's wild ride.
6 people have never been to the happiest place on earth =/
Bad news, you guys. This ride is history on July 20. I just saw it on Wikipedia.
aww, cute ride :)
i remember getting stuck near the fishbowl and we had to evacuate and i started touching everything and i sat in the chair for a second and touched the toys @ 3:31
espicor - thanks for the welcome back. I tried to hit reply to you and I accidentally hit remove. Sorry about that! - - RU
I have this movie in Italian.
AWESOME!!!
i know this is a kids ride, but it always sort of scared the crap out of me. Like with the man trying to capture you and turn u into a donkey. not to mention the killer whale at the end.
not even them. i love peter pan and its really popular, but i cant find very much about it on the internet. i love snow white too
They were being so bad, they made JACKASSES out of themselves. It's kind of like a metaphor becoming a reality. The movie Pinocchio is known for that.
I'm really upset with WDW now. All these neat rides based on the CLASSIC disney movies, and WDW in Florida doesn't have any of them. That's not nice! I will have to travel all the way across the country just to see these rides! Your videos are great! And I'm enjoying all of them!
it smells good in the fantasyland dark rides... like old wood. i know im a crazy person but it really does smell nice!!! monstro used to scare the poop out of me lol
aww why didn't you show the cast members? they're the storytellers :)
~jon

Yeah, that's it, I'm calling Disney World! LOL
how many times did u ride it? or you take two cameras? because the lines in fantasyland can go for ever!!!!! I cant wait to see your submarine nemo production!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
i'm goin this monday yea
Yes.
Well, I may be 22 but I sometimes think like a six year old. Therefore, it's cute
Scariest. Ride. Ever.
Nah
see, i've never been on any of those rides! i've never been to disneyland, only disney world, because i live on the other end of the country. We should right a complaint! lol :-)
Nemo will be coming soon........
No idea when but sometime this summer (hopefully) - - RU
Anyone find the mickeys?
1. Popcorn on ground in Pleasure Island make a Mickey.
2. A Mickey statuette sits on the shelf with the ship.
What if they made a princess and the frog ride.
Wouldn't that be nice? I met a woman as Princess Tiana that I like Jazz music and so does she.
Pinocchios Snow white and Peter pan ride Pinocchio is Best
what do u go on. like what is the cart is it a boat or something lol
It is a wooden cart made by Gepetto, if I am spelling his name right.
Do you still make ride dvds if so where can I order them and can you put a day at disneyland on dvd for me I would pay for it
@mupty the many adventures of winnie the pooh is way better though than mr toad's wild ride, i think disney made a wise choice to replace it w/ pooh
Are you talking about Disneyworld? Because in Disneyland mr. toads wild ride is still here
i like the not dark rides
so this ride is just like the Snow White ride and the Toad's Wild Ride or whatever it is called lol
What do you mean? I went to Disneyland. It just wasn't there.
none of the rides in Fantasy land do.
(ex. Snow White && Peter Pan)
