I decided to relocate all the bones to the greenhouse at Greentop nursery. I sealed the doorways and then figured out how to drop every item individually with a hopper/conveyors. They're going in a special pile somewhere. I placed the sizes of tools I've found in my museum, but the two tiny combination wrenches have shitty code, so they vibrate and slide all over the place, THEN fall through the surface of the countertops I used. They do stop eventually. I just realized, I should build a catwalk over to the spot to see if any bones had sunk into the ground texture.
@GoTorino That's awesome, really! Tiny Wrenches are wiggly for bit but stop if wedged in a pile of bigger ones closer together, fixes that. @@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt Well, that hole is basically half a dozen intersecting impenetrable hillsides. there is an opening directly West(?) but I doubt it's worth it. I picked that can up, but it didn't look right, so I dropped it in JP until I could find another one to compare. Just found one to the North, carried it to JP, and sure enough, the HP can is about 25% smaller. I pushed a stove into that unbuildable house at the SE corner of JP, and it holds like exactly four large floor sections. I put up concrete walls, but the house is just a hair too small to hold them all the way up. I carried a dressed fem mannequin from HP, but obviously can't get it into the building. "If you had a list of every item, that'd be greeeaat" - Bill Lumbergh So I finally noticed that, when I drop bulk items to scrap, the variants drop separately, which I might've noticed in the previous 93 days of gameplay had I not been voraciously collecting scrap. Anyway, I have begun a museum of sorts up in the rafters of Vault 88 (because settlers rarely go up there). I've found three sizes of dishrag, an undersized baseball glove, undersized connecting rod, and a double-sized tin can. I think I might have an undersized battered clipboard at a red rocket down in the glowing sea, but I have to go grab another one. My issue is, every time I place something for display, it either falls through the furniture, or a settler falls through the floor above and wipes out the whole collection. This is due to my settlements being overbuilt (the consequences of using the settlement size glitch with reckless abandon, that none of the youtubers mention...). I wish Bethesda would create "lockable" furniture, so you can create it as an indestructible item when you're done placing your loot. The devs can do it, and we were given access to dev features to build the settlements, so this is the next logical step. But really, I think the internet wants, needs, and DESERVES a comprehensive list if every variant you've found and basic location! Do it! Accept the mantle of "Fallout Variant Expert." Hellraiser: The Reluctant Hero
Cool, it will take a minute, as I haven't shown everything I found, plus comments from people have led to more items but credit is due to them for their contribution. A video and list but not too long. I've been put for a bit and starting videos up soon, thanks for commenting, I needed that, some direction for the channel is appreciated by my Subscribers. I haven't found anything to be solid for leaving items on display but have noticed tables and will drop items but some stay on certain spots and have been tinkering with that as it sucks to set up and gets trashed. Something to do with coming to and leaving a settlement does that, some settlements are worse than others for this.
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt Yeah, it's like the items spawn, THEN the furniture. I also had trouble with stuff sinking below ground, but your underground tutorials have helped me get all that stuff back. So, I've been collection certain thing with the intention of dropping them into a huge pile. It makes my populated settlements lag, but I've got disused locations where I just started building conveyors and hoppers to do just that. I make a fence, two floor and roof prefabs, genny's, and conveyors. Jamaica Plain has a pit of teddy bears (where I nave discovered four distinct sizes so far). Boston Airport has a pit of plungers (thousands). Nuka World Red Rocket has a mound of Deathclaw hands (as a deterrent, of course), and Mechanist's Lair has all my Jangles. The first one that dropped was obviously very small, so I grabbed it, and now I have three sizes. I've filled my Sanctuary pit with manually dropped bones, but I fear they're causing lag, so I have decided to completely fill the Greentop(?) nursery greenhouse with bones. I wanted to drop them through the roof, but it's not as easy as I thought. Will probably just keep the manufacturing equip. inside for now.
Found a thing you might not've seen! I certainly have never seen it, having been through this location several times. It's a tiny, TINY baby rattle! About a block South of Hangman's Alley is a diner with a super mutant inside, one on the roof, and one out front with a hound. Once these are dispatched, there is a door inside the diner that leads to storage/kitchen, and I think access to the apartment building. But, just through the door, in a storage room to the left, behind the door, is a tiny baby stroller (about a foot long), and in it is about 1/3 size rattle. Secondly, I believe I picked up a small bowler hat from the gun shop in Monsignor Plaza. This is only after installing the new Chinese Grenade Launcher dlc. The quest takes you there to kill the guy who stole the plans or something. There was a tiny bowler on the shelf, but I can't remember if it dropped normal size or not. I would've set it aside. I'll check. Would go great with that mod that lets you put hats on Codsworth.
Yes undersize baby rattle and baby bottle, too I think or tiny bear, but sure there is two unders8ze items in the tiny stroller. Monsignor place, I think that's where I get the stars and stripes bandana, I only grab the bandana and come back a few day's later after it respawns, never check ked to see if the hat was undersize
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt Damn, you're too good my friend! I'm getting a suggested video my another creator that has an undersized Giddyup Buttercup in the thumbnail. I'm just going to assume you've got the oversized GB from the whatever corporate headquarters lobby. I really need to start hitting the streets again, and not just fast traveling, because my last surviving vendor, Cricket, has failed to show up on her route in quite a while, so I assume she and her caravan have been killed. Now I just need to locate her body to get some of that sweet, sweet respawning loot (not to mention all the epic firepower I supplied her and her guards with years ago when I realized the vendors were dying).
There are two undersized basketballs in a skee-ball machine at the arcade at Revere Beach Station boardwalk. These are the only ones I've found. But more importantly, you're missing the smallest white plate! There are two I've found, each on cafe tables near the water. One is near (maybe East of) Custom House Tower? I remember finding it while exploring around Old North Church. The second is a block or so in from the river behind Back Street Apparel. I can hunt around and get better directions. ALSO, there are at least two sizes of Nuka Cola bottles that I've never heard anyone discuss! Only the smaller size fits in the Nuka machines. There is an oversized teddy bear behind the wheel of a bus, wearing a postal hat in the bus just North of Egret Tours Marina. And lastly, I found an oversized traffic cone somewhere around Greygarden. I brought it there manually because it can't be picked up into inventory. So, it had to be close, maybe Lexington? I'll have to think about it. I'll reply with more info.
Ok, small plates at cafes. The one I carried all the way back to Sanctuary is up in my apartment, but it is so overdecorated with loot and power armor, my game crashes after a few seconds in the room. But, I believe it was a White Plate of ceramic. I found it at a cafe immediately South of Custom House Tower. From the podium facing South, it is on the other side of the crumbling building. Next is a Dinner Plate of steel. From the Charles View(?) Amphitheater, move West and climb the pedestrian walkway. It drops you on a raised sidewalk. Continuing West about 40 steps, there is a balcony behind a railing with tables and chairs. I walked all around Lexington, but I can't remember where I found this oversized cone. Maybe it was up at the junkyard North of Greygarden, or maybe College Square. Who knows? I also found a Vodka (not a vodka bottle) somewhere that is listed as junk, instead of aid, and scraps as glass. Then, there are the "Clean" variants of most junk items that are fun to collect.
Hello GoTorino! Awesome finds! I have a few whiskey and vodka listed in junk, I kept them and stored somewhere. In my first video, rare items, I got a dinner plate just a few steps south of the custom house , same place as the small white plate? Large cone, I found one at thicket excavations. I have 3 small dinner plates from that area around the custom house. Basketballs are cool, and the colas in the machines are different, i found 2 nuka quantums at the ration place south of Sunshine Tidings Lot of cool stuff here, thanks!
I will definitely go look for those! Like little treasure hunts. Thank You! Did you carry everything by hand, plates, b balls, large teddy? Mine changed to regular sizes.
Awesome. I'm just glad somebody else out there is doing the same stupid shit I do in game. I didn't see the "3.0" til after I posted. Need to check out the others. The large teddy I stored in inventory and dropped large, same with the tiny basket balls (I've scrapped dozens of them now), but the plates have to be carried by hand, massive time suck. And the WORST part about it, if (when) you get attacked, setting down the plate means about a 50/50 chance of it sinking below the terrain image. I lost it completely once as I got right up to Sanctuary (raider attack), but luckily had a save at Red Rocket. The CHT plate must be a dinner plate. It was an early find, like maybe the first alternate item I'd seen, so I took the extra time to get it to Sanctuary, which can now be renamed "lag-city." Lots of youtubers talk about the settlement size glitch, but they don't really mention that it makes that settlement basically unplayable. I only used the drop/store glitch a few times, but your settlement size meter shrinks with EVERYTHING you drop and scrap! So, my massively overbuilt Sanctuary reads as having 0% built there. Now that I know, to not exacerbate the issue, I take all my loot and drop/scrap it at Starlight Drive-in, which is really at 0%, so it can't hurt it. I assume you've found the two yellow hard hats that turn green when you drop them from inventory? I carried one from the power station next to County Crossing, and it is on display.
I make a regular raid on Revere Beach, Roadside Pines, Dunwich Borers, Quincy, Hub City, and both Lexington locations to steal the power armor, as I use it to build npc-proof fences and social engineering structures to divert attacks. I've gotten so many raider and BoS suits, I'm really struggling to find places to put them. I lined the inside and outside wall edge of The Castle with stolen suits, which totaled 454 suits! I completely stopped taking BoS suits long ago, but I used to take every guard's armor from inside The Prydwen, Boston airport, every checkpoint, and every scout team.
I had no idea you could set up machinery to sort items. Thanks very much. I have a suit of raider power armor which annoyingly counts as a stolen item. Laundering the individual pieces via a vendor probably wouldn't help. I don't suppose you happen to know if there is a way other than console commands to set ownership on a power armor frame, do ya?
Thank you and you are welcome!! Laundering helps clean other stuff, worth a try, Sorry I don't know a way of how to clean the frame. I will ask my friends about that and if anything I will let you know right then. Gimme a shout if you have any more questions, I'll do what I can to help you out!!
Maybe try to trade the frame to Rowdy at Adam Cats for a clean one or just use the console command. I'm on a ps4, i never thought much about stolen frames.
My junk is mostly oversized at a certain moment in the morning... I bet you can make a giant row of dominoes with abraxo cleaners😂 saw a video someone doing that in another game with a similar type of engine. Maybe make a giant machine that triggers stuff, like a settler going to an assigned bed or job with laser tripwire, wich launches a cat onto a pressure plate that sets off a conveyer belt carrying a mannequin tipping off a barrel that rolls down and ticks against a ball that rolls and goes through a same kind of varying weird track and finally tipping over a abraxo cleaner dominoe triggering the rest....
Lol, dominoes... So my brain goes to thinking .... and bam dominoes of flaming, exploding cars, could be a challenge, but possible in a small area. I'm trying to launch cars with ramps, it's a work in progress. Cool idea!!
1:05 Kevin Alibert found a large straw pillow. It's roughly 100 yards north of the sewer entrance to the Switchboard. It's in a blue tent under the utility tower. He's on PS4 and I'm on Xbox. In his game it didn't shrink in the PipBoy. In my game it is too heavy to lift, can't be pushed, and shrinks in the PipBoy. Have you had any luck with that pillow? 2:53 That one ticked me off the first time I saw it. Probably not as much as the unmovable prewar moose picture at Warwick did. 3:36 I knew there were different sized ladles but I didn't know where to look. Thanks! 7:00 I'm sure you know but it still might be worth mentioning for others. Don't use the power cables during the repair quest here. If you're low INT take some Mentats or whatever you can to pass the skill check. These are the only power cables in the game and if you use them they are gone forever. 8:00 I wonder if stolen resized items can be cleaned by selling them to a vendor? I know it works with normal items but do resized items retain their size after being sold and bought? Hmmm, I guess I have something new I need to test. 9:43 This one somehow escaped me until now. Been by here enough times I should have seen it. Thanks! 10:07 Another I had missed. So obvious too. 11:36 Thanks from me to EZE as well. The only ones I knew of, prior to him, were these CIT ones which of course need to be looted before destroying The Institute..... I can't recall if EZE ever mentioned the rad barrel in the basement of Greater Mass Blood Clinic. That is one that Jet Jaguar (I sure hope I'm not misremembering that, I'm pretty sure it was him) found and told me about. 16:35 I see where this is going. Great tip! 16:48 Any idea on the small preserver location? 18:35 The Jangles animation is pretty funny. Love these unique item videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them!
I remember the video Kevin made about the straw pillow but didnt know the location, cool thanks for that, ive been looking since. The little engine ticked me off too, i spent like 5 minutes trying to make it move, and been looking for a smaller engine since. 3:36 cool Dang it, the power cables are rare too, didnt think to mention, i did that, went and got cables and skipped them to fix the ship and keep those. 8:00 interesting, you trade stolen and buy back and cleaned? 9:43 & 10:07 cool! 11:36 Thank you, i appreciate that! I thought these things were cool, but didnt think there was an interest till i found your channel and EZE channel last year, thanks to yt. Video wise just mostly legendary stuff out there, which really isnt that interesting to me besides freefall legs and unyielding armor. Cool for that tip, looking forward to new vids from Jet Jaguar, Jets been quiet for a while... 16:35 Thanks, someone asked me how i decorate detail my settlements and this helps make it quicker for lazy people like me. Small preserver, Sole dweller did a video finding a small baby jangles, and that Jangles was wearing that preserver but i didnt see a follow up vid of that with the preserver. 18:35😂 Dropping out of the air. Cool, you and EZE got me fired up to find this stuff, seeing there was way more out there, thank you! i enjoy doing these, i really never looted much, i scrapped a little in the beginning but bought most materials after building tons of water purifiers to trade waters with, i just went to places to discover for fast travel locations or to get magazines and bobbleheads. Now im going back one place at a time and dragging things back to check with standards. Way more stuff to make a settlement look even more realistic and unique. I got some more left to show, I'm hoping more people jump in on this and help find more stuff, just wondering what else is out there. Thanks again for compliments, comments, and tips! I'm glad you found something new and useful in this too!
Just got the huge straw pillow, I'm on ps4, I grabbed it and it shrank. Restart went back and threw my pipe pistol at it, it popped out of the ground, and threw pipe pistol again and knocked the pillow out the back of the tent. Pushed it to Sunshine with pistol. If the pillow gets stuck pushing, just throw the pistol at it to get it moving again if it's still at that tent for you?
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt Yes selling and repurchasing stolen items turns them green again. I don't know if you saw my follow up but I did it with the tube flanges and they retained their unique size. Obviously save before trying this with other resized things. I'm pretty sure I've watched every Sole Dweller vid. I'll have to go back and have a gander.
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt I'll have to try throwing at it. I've tried pushing it with various guns in the past but never thrown one at it. OK, throwing works. Thanks! I went there and threw a gun and it moved just a little. I threw it a second time and it moved a bit more. Then it got stuck. It took close to another 20 throws to un-stick it. The way I finally freed it was by going to the back of the tent and making the pillow move towards the opening of the tent when the gun hit it. At that point it was still in the tent but it was loose and I could push it easily. A 5 year mystery finally solved!
The "next gen" update appears to have broken most, if not all, of the desktop pictures in the game. They are now totally blank with no pics. I also had a bloody skull it returned to clean. Have you noticed any other rare items it broke?
Hi Sheck! I don't know, i dont update my electronics, I keep my ps4's offline, and the game is still at version 1.34. I heard bad things about new update. @@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt Probably a good idea to never upgrade. I'm on Xbox so I have no idea how to extract that on PS4. Honestly I'd have no idea how to do it on Xbox either. I'm too old to mess around with technology.
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt One more reason you were right to not upgrade. The rad barrels you show here at C.I.T. are no longer yellow, they are now just rusty metal. Same with the other rad barrels throughout the game as well as the red and blue barrels.

Do it! Accept the mantle of "Fallout Variant Expert."
Hellraiser: The Reluctant Hero
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt
Damn, you're too good my friend!
@@GoTorinocodsworth can wear bowler hats without mods 🎉
@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt the tiny stroller has a tiny rattle, tiny, bottle and tiny alien toy. Along with a regular alien toy.
Cool idea!!
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt the underground settlement video is live now plus something extra.
I just tested these tube flanges by selling them to Cricket. It removed the steal warning and they did retain their unique size.
I remember the video Kevin made about the straw pillow but didnt know the location, cool thanks for that, ive been looking since.
The little engine ticked me off too, i spent like 5 minutes trying to make it move, and been looking for a smaller engine since.
3:36 cool
Dang it, the power cables are rare too, didnt think to mention, i did that, went and got cables and skipped them to fix the ship and keep those.
Cool for that tip, looking forward to new vids from
Jet Jaguar, Jets been quiet for a while...
16:35 Thanks, someone asked me how i decorate detail my settlements and this helps make it quicker for lazy people like me.
Small preserver,
Sole dweller did a video finding a small baby jangles, and that Jangles was wearing that preserver but i didnt see a follow up vid of that with the preserver.
Nice
Thanks Barbarian!!
Do you how I could extract my version and put it on a memory/storage device to transfer to other users who want to undo new version, I think it's possible, ps4 to ps4?
Are you on a ps4?
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt Probably a good idea to never upgrade. I'm on Xbox so I have no idea how to extract that on PS4. Honestly I'd have no idea how to do it on Xbox either. I'm too old to mess around with technology.
@@FalloutGamingShelter-wq9jt One more reason you were right to not upgrade. The rad barrels you show here at C.I.T. are no longer yellow, they are now just rusty metal. Same with the other rad barrels throughout the game as well as the red and blue barrels.
@theinsaneshecklador6598 geeze, I really believe sabotage just like starfield, I really believe Bethesda was bought to be dismantled because xbox game sales were down because of Bethesda, the guy who bought Bethesda does this with everything. Why would you make a show and not have a new game to game to back it up. This is all business, and I've seen stuff that looks like this all my life. This looks bad, Fallout 4 wasn't finished but rocked the shelves, starfield was soooo unfinished, launched too early. Now this update and so many people upset, really these are the improvements people were looking forward to, f-n b.s. !
Funny timing as Fallout 4 is coming back up strong, with a lot of new players, it's awesome!
and this update makes me sick!!!
Good
Thanks!
