This is your most helpful video I’ve seen. I like that you show us how to pilot the class/spec. As a new player and healer, it’s great to actually understand what buttons are most important and what to do when I don’t need to be healing.

Great guide. Just what we needed. Not many people have guides for all specs of a Shaman
I leveled a Sham in WotLK because they were my favorite class back in the day, but ended up collecting dust. You have got me hyped on an Ele/Restonement shaman main in cata.

Pretty solid guide overall! I would add in a few things about some of the talent choices. 3/3 acuity/2/2 convection is stronger for mana returns and throughput. It's probably also better to go 2/3 precision, but 3/3 is fine in P1 if you truly never want to miss a LB. Lastly, if you are doing heroic progression then 2/2 Ancestral Resolve is a must IMO. I would use the points in Focused Insight for AR instead.

I love how Resto Shaman have different play styles in this expansion. This healing rain version will shine the best in 25s and in fights where you have to stack and you don't have to move.
Great video. I will try this out for sure. Probably take one point out of Totemic Focus and put it in Focused Insght
Also Unleash Life only boosts a single target heal but Focused Insight boosts any heal. So always use a shock spell before healing rain or chain heal for a big boost.

Thanks for the video, this build looks really nice. I'm a new player and I had a question, is the elemental weapon talent necessary? I rarely find myself meleeing or using flame togue weapon. Am I missing out on spell damage or raw stats by not using those spells?
What are your other healing specs you're using, I know you said you plan on going double healing spec.

what would be your gear prio for this in p1? do you just go with standard resto gear or mix in some elemental pieces? to me the resto gear looks kinda shit, but the elemental lighting bolt cast time reduction seems a little better?
I love this play style. It's been super fun so far. Do we know if the ele set bonus will still work in resto? Or is it spec specific?

What's your 10 man spec? What other healer is complementary for 10 man? Main 25 man raider is hunter, 10 man going to be elemental/resto or resto/elemental for ten man. Thanks!!

hi - i'm having a blast in cata so far. i'm level 67. i took a point out of mana tide totem and put it in imp cleanse spirit. since cata pre patch came out mana tide totem isn't doing a damn thing. probably will get better when i have better gear since it scales with spirit? thanks for the content youre the shammy goat
Yeah at low levels mana tide is so poor, thats probably a good shout!

Fine in 25 man. Good luck getting taken to 10man content though. RDruid, Hpala and DPriest will dominate healing in Cata, same as wrath lol.
Rsham does fine in 10 man, although i wouldnt personally run this build

As far as we know - no. But it seems like theres been some issues with it functioning today, it looks like they updated it server side but didnt release the patch to client side
