Hurricanes and storms over the years have ruined the beaches which were wider and more pristine back in the day. Looking forward to returning this or next year. Have friends there who are native to Nevis.
+Bajan Aviation Wow!! It looks like the prop thingies are flying off and hovering in mid air!! (I stopped it a couple times.) I assume that is what you are talking about??? LOL If not, just ignore me. :D
+Maxi-Air that's nice.... i find the prices to St. Kitts are a bit high i want to see more people taking the short hop over to St. Kitts as well....i spoke to many tourist there and $$$ is a big issue :)
+SKBenergy Both airports you flew to are imo big enough to accomodate much bigger aircraft, so prices could drop, if they maybe send an ATR, but I liked Winair, they are great!
love your video. why? I am in the far east, may never visit these places but your video provide some insights as to how they look like. Appreciate your effort. Thank you.
Thanks for your awesome videos at St Maarten. I will be there on the 26th October for 2 weeks and will be doing plenty of plane spotting. Where did you take your videos from?
I spent MANY HOURS flying as an aircrewman in the US Coast Guard, and _many_ of those hours were in Lockheed HC-130H Hercules airplanes. Looking out of a scanner window and seeing a turboprop there on the wing is NORMAL for me...😊
Do they reverse the prop pitch when landing so as to slow the plane down ? Also , do they carry inflatable life rafts in case the plane has too ditch ?
Hello, buddy! I have a question for you: Why the plane had to stop at Nevis to refuel, if 10 minutes later you'd arrive at St. Kitts? Isn't St. Kitts very close to St. Marteen? The tanks of the Twin Otter are that small? =O Great video, keep them coming!
+Bernardo Odenwald Hello there my friend :) !!! by schedule the flight was to touch down in Nevis then on to St. Kitts but am not sure about the fuel part if they do it all the time.. the pilot just said they need a little top up and we all had to get off :)..normally people stay on the plane who are going to St. Ktits
+Grogz40 actually all my travel videos were don with my Samsung Galaxy S5 16 mp camera...didn't use the T3I on no planes while traveling lol just spotting ,the phone has a pretty good camera m i use a canon 70 to 3000 MM lense with two stage image stabilizer :)
Loved the scenery, the short takeoff run and the engine sound on climb out,I did the St Maarten to Nevis part of that flight dome years ago.
Great flying with WinAir..looking forward to travel again... love the horns...

Hello from Sydney. You are lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world. Great video 👍✈️
Wow! Everything modernized since we were there in the 80’s. Back then the airport in Nevis was basically a shack!
Hurricanes and storms over the years have ruined the beaches which were wider and more pristine back in the day. Looking forward to returning this or next year. Have friends there who are native to Nevis.

So far, all is well...👌👌
Do they reverse the prop pitch when landing so as to slow the plane down ? Also , do they carry inflatable life rafts in case the plane has too ditch ?
who exactly are you referring to in the video ?
THe prop pitch of the engines to act as a brake to help the pilots slow the aircraft on short runways .
Do you think they could install a good audio system on these planes..

The only crew on this aircraft are pilots? No flight stewardess?
+abeamarra nope....do twin otter operatures around the world have ? because they have no bathroom as well..
How many passengers can it carry?
abeamarra its a 19 seater,,, are there any in your region that operates the twin otters ?
+SKBenergy There are no Twin Otters that operate commercially here. There maybe some but privately owned.
+SKBenergy Btw, Why didn't you fly Liat?
Airport Shuttle is bigger than your plane.

WinAir is a horrible airline. Absolutely the worst!
