I don’t think your dog liked the knives😆😉 I was fortunate to pick one up directly from Bear & Son President Ken Griffey (autograph and all) when they had the big party at Red Hill Cutlery during the “Kentucky Moonshine Festival”. I agree with your assessment of the knife 100%. I highly recommend it to everyone, if Red Hill has any left. Also, Red Hill Cutlery was offering a Kentucky Moonshine Festival commemorative edition of this knife, white bone with special artwork on it, so you collectors might check to see if any of those are left - it’s a fun piece😉 As for the Case Barlow, you’ve got a good one, but a lot of my recent Case knives have been duds. Bear & Son quality has them nipping at Case’s heals…..
I received two Bear and Son Barlows as fathers’s day gifts. One stag and one white bone. They are beautiful and well made knives. The quality is just as good as most of my Case knives, and better than some. They were purchased at Red Hill Cutlery as well.

Barlows are an outstanding pattern. Bear & Son is an up and coming manufacturer I picked up a small farm hand and it keeps getting in my pocket.
