Enter the Gungeon is a bullet hell dungeon crawler following a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table-flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past. Heya NL! The reason the big shotgun wasn’t doin so well against the Blobulord was because of a dis-synergy with Angry Bullets. Angry Bullets cause shots that would normally explode on contact to instead just bounce off. The impact damage of the big shotgun shells isn’t much, and most of the damage of the weapon comes from the explosions and fragmenting shots after. This is kind of the case with Angry Bullets+Most explosive weapons. Thanks for the episode!
Came to look for this comment. At first I was irked that he didn't realize it, but considering he doesn't have Angry Bullets all that often, it makes. I'm wondering if he thought either A) Explosions negated Angry Bullets or B) thought they only proc'd if other enemies were in the room.
Piercing shots has a similarly debilitating effect
I hate Devolver bullets for a similar reason. Sure it’s good if you have no dmg, but if you’ve got, like, Laser Rifle, and have a green shell down to 1hp and then he turns into an ancient bullet kin, you’ve now gotta waste more shots and risk getting tagged by a slow-ass arrow.
Least it’s good sell creep fodder

Its the end of the last season and NL still hasn't learned that the Misfire Beast (shadow cat enemy) leaves an illusion like the Killithid (Cthulhu), and that the real body needs to be killed
It's amazing. I've seen him kill 2, 3, sometimes more clones without even looking for the main body, even when it shows up on screen momentarily.
I understand that there isn't room for a whole bunch of roguelike series at once, and one has to end, which is why I understand if Isaac ends...

Watched Bisnap play Gungeon a bit recently. He opens the rat floor right away, uses blanks, etc., then goes back to the floor to finish. Helps prevent that issue with forgetting and using blanks.

When I taught (England, UK) we weren't allowed to let children go to the bathroom without a medical exception. TBF they had a chance to go between lessons, so they were always less than an hour away from going.
In NA kids often have 5 minutes or less to get between classes. Combine going to their locker and a class on the other side of the school it can make a pitstop relatively unfeasible
Oh yeah, technically students were supposed to teleport from class to class. We allowed five minutes even though technically the timetable didn't allow for it because students weren't allowed to break the laws of physics. I always told students that if they went to the bathroom en-route to my class and weren't more than ten minutes late (including travel time) they they were fine.

Pokémon Apex is a refreshingly adult take on the Pokémon universe. Grounded in reality and full of real-world problems in which you play a young boy who finds himself able to travel to a strange world full of powerful demons called Pokémon.
A well-crafted fangame created by Nathan Guzenhauser, Pokémon Apex is an adult take on the classic "Catch 'em All!" gameplay of Pokémon.
That's not "adult" as in violence and nudity, although there is some swearing. It's "adult" in the sense the story themes that it addresses, with you playing a high-schooler who's mother and father have separated, and who escapes the drudgery of day-to-day life by playing video games with his best friend.
Throughout the game, you discover that you can cross between worlds to a strange demon (or Pokémon)-infested world, and discover there is a dark cult hell-bent on destroying both worlds.
