I just wanted to remind you guys to watch the very end of this video for a preview of some seriously harsh weather conditions coming up in the next video! The city is a hectic place. Today’s video is a good example of how I feel leaving the city in search of a much more calming vibe. I hope you enjoy the getaway as much as me and my dogs do. Even though it’s freezing cold at night… I post at least two exclusive videos on Patreon each week. It’s a great way to help out the channel too: patreon.com/GotOut Check out our Amazon store for a comprehensive list of all the equipment my dogs and I use for our full-time RV life and help out the channel at the same time: www.amazon.com/shop/gotout Please don’t forget to hit the like button 👍and make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss any of our videos. A DC to DC charger will charge your house batteries at a higher rate then your truck can. On longer drives your batteries will be charged up when you get to your destination.
Recipe for an unusual sandwich that sounds weird but is really good. Think you might dig it based on your grocery staples. - toasted English muffin - cream cheese - asparagus - avocado - dash of seasoning salt
The flying j in Barstow off of the 15 @ outlet Center drive has two RV lanes with potable water, gasoline, dump station, propane, showers. Just about everything you could possibly want.
On my 1994 fifth wheel i ran wires straight from the front of my truck battery with an extra plug and hevy duty fuse.I got my battery well charged while I drive.stay safe .cheers from Canada
I bought one battery from eco-worthy. I bought two from Temu. I was surprised to see that they were in the same case, and had the exact same packing material. They have been working very well for over a year now.
I was able to visit Salt Lake City a few years ago for work and really fell in love with the area. I didn’t have a whole lot of time to explore or get out of the city because I had a stupid electric car but I would have loved to check out St George and surrounding areas.
Haha. I had the same experience going to Costco in Salt Lake City. I live in a city of 1M in Canada, but it was like culture shock to me as well. 8 lanes on the interstate and getting passed at 80MPH no thanks. Went to Moab in April. That was a mistake as well. Don’t know how people deal with LA etc I’m excited for you to get somewhere warm.
Hey brother, gas is $2.63 a gallon at Walmart here in Southwest Virginia also I was thinking about all that potable water that you run across you might want to invest in a water tester before you drink that water I saw electric testers on Amazon for 8 bucks and definitely filter your water in your trailer I'm sure you probably do. I enjoy watching you and the dogs so take care.
It’s a great suggestion. I do get my water from random places. I never got sick but who knows what’s actually in it. I filter my drinking water into separate containers. But I just use the standard camco rv water filter. 🌲🌵
Alright, you need to put a note on those washers to remind us when you use them 😀! Sure hope they don't end up in the electoral cord draw, they'll never get used then! 😂
If I stay connected to my TT I will chock my rear truck tire. This reminds me that I am hooked up and to check the connections. I always disconnect the truck electrical cord before shore power is connected. The system should be protected but you never know if a surge could hit your truck.
i use fj allot most of them have fuel water and a dump all in one stop i subscribed i hope i get new one had to throw that out there lol keep the vids nice job
Not only can lithium batteries discharge almost completely to zero-unlike lead-acid batteries, which are limited to 50% before risking damage-but they also charge much faster. Charging the last 20% of a lead-acid battery takes a significant amount of time, and since you can only use 50% of its total capacity, that final 20% effectively represents 40% of your usable charge. Additionally, lithium batteries are now much more affordable compared to just a few years ago. I can't even count how many times I had to replace the four 6-volt golf cart batteries in my motorhome because I over-discharged them and caused irreparable damage.
Yes to everything "theconchonetwork498" said, plus you should get a good 8-10 years out of lithium batteries, while pulling less than 30% of battery weight around.
Luckily no. Usually we camp pretty far from others and if I see weirdos around I don’t stay long. Good tip is to meet your neighbor if you have them. But don’t walk into others camps. I do have a couple scary stories to tell, of course. Things do happen. But really all good so far. I try not to draw attention. Dogs are a must! 🌵🌲
@@GotOut That too! I had a truck buddy (we shared a plow truck on opposite shifts) who chewed tobacco and spit in bottles and then would leave them on the floor. So gross! LOL
It would definitely speed up Upload time of our videos. I’m still trying to keep My system as simple as possible, however. Feel like it might be a hassle to set it up. But it’s probably in my future. Smaller unit would be nice. I think there’s a version called the mini. 🌲🌵
I'm assuming this is more BLM land? More scenic than the last place, I would actually enjoy hanging out in this location. I could tell Echo was wondering where the antelope were. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, was sending good thoughts your way!
National forest in Utah. I didn’t drive on that particular road. 4x4 and no trailer would be ok. The road I took in was a pretty decent dirt road well traveled. 🌵🌲

Beautiful area. And y’all have it all to yourself. Love the peace and quiet. Be safe✌🏻🇺🇸
What a gorgeous place. So peaceful. 😊
Wish you were here! It is very
Peaceful and the dogs love it! 🌵🌲

Looked like the quiet after the Costco trip was Dodger approved ;-) Beautiful country!
Wow nice camping spot. Great for the dogs also.

Dude, that was an awesome camp spot. I can imagine you're able to see lots of stars especially if there's no moon. Thanks!
You’re right the stars are insane! 🌵🌲
The shopping may have sucked, but at least you got your zah! I hope you enjoyed it, fully.
Finally relaxed out here! 🌵🐕
Wow! Great timing! Hi there, and thanks for the share. Haven't watched yet, but I know I'll like it! Take care! 🐾🐾
Thanks for adding our video To your watch later list!🌲🌵
A cliff hanger! So awesome! Excellent Job!
Oh thanks I was hoping that would come across! Trying to do some editing to show the excitement that I feel sometimes. Thanks so much! 🌵🌲🐕🐕🦺

Dodger you’re so adorable!
Feeding him dinner right now! He was just snoring while I was editing the next video!🌲🌵🐕🐕🦺
Beautiful landscape, always nice to find a new front yard...have a good one
This place felt so good after the busy city! 🌲🌵
BRR 24 is too cold for this SoCal girl. It has been in the 50's at night for the most part. Another beautiful camping space. 😊
Getting closer to Arizona you three💓
I started driving taxi cab in Seattle around 1978 through 2010 with some town car driving and dispatch in Seattle and in between cattle ranching.
Best timeline in Seattle for sure! 🌵🌲

Glad to hear someone knows what I’m talking about! They had huge walk in freezers! I felt so lost trying to find the 10 things I needed. 🌵🌲
You did it again. Another great video Thanks 😊
Thanks so much, Yerry! I hope you’re ready for the next adventure! 🌲🌵
Are you going to be in the Quartzite area? I would like to stop by and introduce myself?
I’m sure we will bump into each other I’ve been running into several subscribers…

We sure did! Thanks for asking! 🌲🌵 🐕🐕🦺
Pretty spot.
It’s one of my favorites now! 🌵🌲

You'll love lithium batteries. Run a freezer in the back of my 4WD. Cold scotch and coke wherever I go.
I’m actually still debating it. Depends on how involved the install process is. I really want to do it though. 🌵🌲
Everyone is busy maxing their credit cards out for xmas

Great advice! I probably damaged them by draining too far. Only a couple times luckily 🌵🌲
Looks really nice. Have you had any serious security issues?
Luckily no. Usually we camp pretty far from others and if I see weirdos around I don’t stay long. Good tip is to meet your neighbor if you have them. But don’t walk into others camps. @GotOut thanks very much. Your actions make total sense 👌
I wonder how many fires are started by water bottles left laying in dry grass in full sunlight. LOL
Yeah I know that can happen. Or the pee bottles truckers throw out on the side of the road! 🌲🌵
@@GotOut That too! I had a truck buddy (we shared a plow truck on opposite shifts) who chewed tobacco and spit in bottles and then would leave them on the floor. So gross! LOL
Curious to know, don't want Starlink?

How much do you need per month to live ?
Not much luckily. But I am pretty frugal. 🌲🌵
@GotOut I have a camper, but so far, I've only stayed at Camp grounds. How do you find places that are free?
I'm assuming this is more BLM land? More scenic than the last place, I would actually enjoy hanging out in this location. I could tell Echo was wondering where the antelope were. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, was sending good thoughts your way!
National Forest in Utah. It’s going to get even more beautiful, soon! Thanks for watching us again! 🌵🌲🐕🐕🦺
What is the warmest place you've found this time of year?
Southern Arizona for sure 🌲🌵
Are you sure he’s not a cow 🐄 ? I want to be a nomad.
Where is this location? Is it public land BLM or what? The road you were walking the pups with is that the road in and out?
National forest in Utah. I didn’t drive on that particular road. 4x4 and no trailer would be ok. The road I took in was a pretty decent dirt road well traveled. 🌵🌲
Is that BLM land? How does that go up in Utah?
Utah is awesome for camping! I really love it. Nice people too so far 🌵🌲
