If you being a brahmachari then you have to control your body pleasures which is possible only if you do yoga and meditation and you have to go another place where distraction are less this will happen only a short time after a long time you will bored from this kind of life because the truth of life ( purpose of life) nobody knows.

In this practical life there are many couples which are sad their relationship and some are happy with their relationship.
So being a brahmachari it's the ultimate joy for some people but not for all.

More than celibacy I think purity, both mental and physical, is essential for good spirituality and wellbeing.
Daily powerful sadhana is essential.. everything else comes behind that.. one after the other naturally..
It’s very hard to transmute sexual energy if you have a lot of it, sometimes yoga, pranayama, eating less meat etc is not enough I cannot always retain it I start looking at females like objects. I am working on this it is a big obstacle for me.
Sexual energy is related to creating capability and willing. I strongly advise you to invest that energy into something that is creative and that you're creating yourself, you'll be surprise by the balance it'll provide you on the matter of sexual desires.

It's not discipline. Its a realization. You don't need discipline if you don't want something. I can have a bottle of alcohol sit in my house and not drink it because I don't want to drink it - there's no discipline involved. When you see sex isn't giving you anything of value then you'll just drop it. But it comes from deep within otherwise you fight the urge and that leads to mental illness. If you look at the people in the world, the people often who have nothing else engage in sex the most. The women from bad childhoods etc always see the value in their bodies to other people so they'll have sex with many men and have many children with different fathers... They're giving the world the most base offering - the natural built in functions. It's more than the body or mind. It's not a judgement, it's just falling into a state.

Thank you Sadhguru for your education and insight. Being alone enables me to think clearly and achieve more. I am lonely amongst people who have nothing in common with me. Their focus in life and interests are of little significance to me.
The notions of purity and desecration are human inventions that apply to human behavior and self- management. The world as it is has no need for the concept of purity or celibacy or division across invented lines. There are no lines in nature. There is a visual misinterpretation that where light meets dark a line is made. Once we understand that everything belongs we can practice living it. That process involves relating to things healthfully. Loves turn into love. All the kinds of separated love become love itself. You cannot be impure when you live inside of love.

I think you should neither hold yourself back nor pursue things for the wrong reasons. The wrong reason is to use whatever it is as a means to end your suffering or to bring you happiness. To express truth or happiness is the right motivation.

Brahmacharya is the foundation if you one is trying to master Yoga.. However, the current culture in India is so much adulterated that Brahmacharya is being viewed as a weakness or disability... In many cases, its beyond people 's comprehension how one can travel on this path... So, I see there is a greater scope for expanding your operations across India especially in Northern Karnataka, North India, Delhi where people chase physical pleasures explicitly. Have heard people fall into depression and suffer mentally if they get restricted from physical pleasure due to emergency circumstances like Covid..Please open Isha ashram and help people to evoolve into independent human beings in these places Sadhguru...

100% agree. This talk is quite profound for me on deep history of many of today’s religions and cultures. If celibacy "came from the west", then why the modern Buddhist monks practice this. Buddhism is East.
Also if you dig deep, you see yogic practices and and languages (Sanskrit) are so widespread in Latin and many of the eaatern languages as well. I found that yogic teachings/influeces go beyond 6000 years in many cultures in many continents and Sadhguru confirmed that lol. 🙏

If your on a mission. There's no end to chaste. It's always in line with mission. The deeper the mission the deeper the chaste. When we give up human go to things . There's any depth of richness available not ever fathomed before. You give yourself realized power you realize within yourself. Pranam! Sadhguru popularized Shiva in the west but did not create a structure same as Shrila Prabhupada, in each big city in the world. Once Sadhguru is gone all his pupils will be dissipate without Him and that structure. It’s heartbreaking. Please Guru live very long or leave structure after Yourself.
Obviously Sadhguru says somewhere it will be needed in the path; it should be understood in the context of reaching out the ultimate; Celibacy without proper context is not expressive.

I tried celibacy for a few months & also clean eating at the same time (no preservatives)
i honestly had a full blown spiritual awakening, people would think I'm crazy if I tried to describe how I felt & the things I started experiencing
unfortunately, I met a girl & I'd say I lost most of what started happening to me.
A lot of resources thats used by our brain is shared to produce our seed, wasting that burns up a lot of energy & I think it DOES have a huge impact with spirituality
So what is Hanuman a celibate or brahmachari??

Celibacy is mandatory for the Catholic Priests etc because the Church recognized how expensive and complicated it would be to have clergy who are having families. Clergy are generally paid very little although they dedicate their lives to their ministry. Also celibate/non married clergy can focus on their ministry without the distraction of a family of their own. Finally, married Priests need support and somewhere to live when they retire... Very expensive and cumbersome considerations for the Church.

3.7 celibacy is must. One should not spill the sperm on daily basis. If child is required, it's okay only with certain limit. If sperm is gone, no possibility not only in spirituality. This is why hata yoga❤

I found upon realisation of self after a while I just naturally effortlessly lost interest in sex desire relationships want as when self is realised one becomes complete and happy in one's own beingness aloneness is not loneliness I now have no desire for relationship or sex ,single 7 and 3 qtr years personally I've never been happier in my own self that's been my own personal experience

Your willpower to create a lifestyle that is based on this path or another is not enough. You need to transform your subconscious mind and/or chemical composition of your body to be determined and sustained in it. So you can try forcing celibacy or any other weird abstaining (or even over-exposure) practice to make a change but ultimately, the success will not depend on you. This video can have limited effects on your subconscious mind.

First of all celibacy is not possible for 99.999 percentage of people because nature will prevent them for doing celibacy and that the reason why very few people have been celibate, Swami Vivekananda, bodhidharma, gautam buddha ,etc . And in today's time pornography, openness, is becoming very common day by day in many Asian countries so now it is not possible very much then it was in the past . Plus lot of people pretend to be celibate but I know most of them have erectile dysfunction and they are hiding behind such terms like brahmachari, or nofap or calibate.

Celibacy - physical mastery, non animalistic characteristics, pure Pius action, pure thoughts, pure intentions, nullification of cravings; lust, hunger, wanting anything gross etc.
As practice goes on as a true yogi every thing drops off naturally. This isn't a hobby or a fun time part time entertainment or escape for few serious practitioner. Only those AWARE & AWAKE knows. All practice counted. Not few selection based on liking. It's a path of fire, path of dissolution of false concepts, destruction of veil of illusion. If your life isn't 360° different when you started your Sadhana and haven't experienced any awakening this year or isn't yearning intensely for the ultimate truth/god/purpose of life you aren't or won't make it through this, literally. Its a Path of the toughest warrior, war and biggest goal. Go back to your illusionary baggage of marriage, kids, enjoyment, position and procession 😂😂😂 ... Only a few dharmic heroes use the Maya to cause awakening of the self and the rest as well as attaining God.
