Hi I love your video I wanted to try your recipe but I didn't know what you meant by split milk...what is that? Also I didn't layer the dough before rolling it out so it had that layered texture because I didn't realise it would do that in the end it was only until I finished cooking that I finished the video that I saw that! Anyway you inspired me to bake them and my parents could have a taste from home. Much love and thank you for showing me how to make Kifli

That's because I added 1/2 of the milk, warmed, with the yeast, and the second half later with the flour. I hope that answers your question. As long as they tasted good, is all that matters.
