The metokur parts are gold but I have no idea how ralph even had a podcast. Every time he asks someone a question they get one word and he stamps on it with "come on answer me". He is an idiot.

Right place, right time. The most important part of being a host is people wanting to show up. Raw charisma, and good production value will be what sustains you after the luck passes. You need those things to keep going, but it starts with having good luck and good social positioning.

Considering he was part of the skeptic community, yeah he probably did have a patreon when he was at its peak. According to himself on the Metokur vs Ralph stream he works UberEats semi-regularly
He brags about getting money on Twitter for his bait tweets, which is like 5-10 dollars on a good day
