This was happened in a vertical unit of Karachi. Order was received in four colors based on Jacquard cloth. Order qty was 1450 pcs / color. It was discovered when owner visited packing department and realized that qty was not that big. Later while digging out the history , it was noted and the an additional ZERO is added in order qty. Merchant entered order qty in system 14500 pcs / color.
Ek baar dispatch urgent tha toh company ne dyeing ke baad sukhaya nai hai jaise kapda pack krke container me load kr dia and container jab 30 din baad pahucha toh maal poora kharab sadha hua tha and company ne maal ko dispose krne ke liye alag claim thoka yaani banane se jyada nuksan
Very nice info, this is a common issues at all level that not properly studying the techpack, In my opinion Textile is an industry while Garments isn't. No degree program In garments manufacturing , It's need if the time.
Usually these things mentioned on shipping marks, production ko details fwd nahe ki hungi, ager ki hain to quality department responsible hai, leken galti ho he jati hai kesi na kesi say :)
