He is doing it for the all star race not charlotte
Signing him to replace Larson for his Indy race. He can't be in Indy and Charlotte same time. Hendrick only has 4 charters, so it he adds a 5th car, it will need to qualify on speed.
A car would have to run in the All Star open to try to earn a spot in the main event. Kyle Larson may make it back in time to qualify the #5 car in the all star race. Its for now Harvick is just gonna practice the car basically shake down the car. There is no other driver than Kevin Harvick to do this. Harvick drove these new cars for 2 full seasons and knows this generation of the car. Nobody else is available to do this. Name a driver that for the 2022 and 2023 season drove this generation of car without a ride for the 2024 season?? Name 1 driver better qualified to do this than Harvick?

Kevin is only helping Kyle Larson out, he said when he retired that he would not get back in a car to race that he would not be one of those drivers that come back to race later he said when he retired he was done and I promise you he means it. His focus is on his son's racing.
If kyle wins the all-star back to back. Last year he won right??? I hope he gives Kevi Kev a cut of the winnings, especially if kev dog poles the all-star.
