    Those beige flats are so gorgeous! I also love to show off my collar bone. It’s one of my favorite things about my body. It’s so feminine.

    I liked the short jacket look with the skirt, I hadn’t considered the two collars not mixing well but the other top looked much better. I learned something new, thanks😅

    Chef's kiss to those flats!😚I am also pleased that you've styled a skirt, & particularly a maxi skirt. There are just so many pant/ pant suit outfits being styled everywhere that a skirt (or dress) is an option with freshness! One concern is the skirt touching the ground-- especially at work (& in public bathrooms etc)-- maybe a slightly shorter skirt length (1 inch upward) would be helpful in this case. Anyhoo, thanks for this styling video!!

      Hi Maria, thanks so much for your kind comment. I agree this skirt is a tad too long and a little impractical, I think it should be taken up if the main goal is to wear it with flats. Thanks so much!

    I love your content. It has really inspired me. But one thing I notice is many of the styles are geared towards very thin women like yourself and it’s hard for some who are a little bigger to wear some of these styles? I was wondering if you might consider doing a video to include how to modify these looks to flatter larger women, or show alternatives for some items, such as small crop shirts.

    • @MariaNicoleStyle
      @MariaNicoleStyle  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Nicole, thank you for your feedback. I wish I could include options and variations for other body types but one thing I struggle with on these videos is viewer retention. Seems like women skim through the video just to see the outfits and move on so they are watching 1/3 of the video, if that. If I spend too much time talking about an item or start going into variation details, it actually hurts the video, according to my TH-cam analytics. I am always happy to try to help in the comments if you have specific questions. I also have to say that I am not a professional stylist and although I know body types and can speak to what flatters all sizes, I know TH-cam has lots of professional stylists that always work with many body types. Melissa Murrell comes to mind. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you stick around!

      @@MariaNicoleStyle Thanks so much! I wanted to say again that I do love your content, and made a pretty large purchase at Banana Republic Factory after watching your recent videos! I had not shopped there in a long time, and you inspired me to check them out, they were having a nice sale, so that was great! The clothes arrived yesterday, and I am already wearing them. So I have gotten a lot of great tips from your videos already, and just recently started watching. I am currently a size 12 (so not super big) and about 145 pounds. I was a size 8 for many years until this past year or so have gained a bit of weight (maybe age? I am 44). So I think I can still make most of your outfits work. I just feel my arms are not as flattering anymore and so don't want to wear some of the sleeveless tops or show my belly.

      Hi Nicole, oh that makes me so happy. I know there's so many videos out there about how to dress certain body types and what to wear or not wear and yes I've participated in some of them but ultimately I feel that women should wear what they feel confident, strong, sophisticated, and beautiful in. You can adapt clothing to make you feel your best. like crops you mentioned, not all crops have to show midriff, they can fall at the waist and still keep you covered. You can wear a light cami or tank under it to also give you coverage if you feel more comfortable that way. For arms, yes tees will make you more comfortable or wear a very light shirt over your tanks if you want to shield your arms. Hopefully your weather is not too brutal so you can get away with it. Also, off the shoulder tops are popular right now so you can show a little shoulder but still shield part of your arms that you might be self conscious about. Hope this helps! So glad you're here and thank you for sharing your time with me.

    Hi Maria, great ideas as always. Looove the Mango shoes they are the coolest most versatile flats, wish they made them in size 12.. Outfit #2, which sweatshirt from Sezane please, I don’t see it listed or did I miss it? I don’t know if you realize it but you are often size inclusive- Banana Republic, Sezane, Mango have plus size options. Plus size gals like myself can totally rock the outfits you wear it’s just a few tweaks needed sometimes such as you suggested about the tshirt under the vest which is great tip for any size person with arm issues. Love your content❤.

      Oh my goodness I'm so glad you think so! I knew these brands all offer plus versions but I shop from them moreso because I love their aesthetics. I'm so glad you can adjust the outfits a little to fit your needs and be inspired by my outfits, you made my day! The striped sezane sweatshirt is the gabin jumper which is sold out but it's very similar to the alexa sweatshirt which currently has only a few sizes left rstyle.me/+UWsfg-biDfgxUPFgn9l-ug Thanks again for your lovely email and I'm so glad you're here.

      Thank you for letting me know. I tried a different filming angle and I noticed it was dark while editing. Tried to fix it as best I could. Sorry about that.
