    GREAT vid! but i cant tell which way to fit the spider- it has a thicker rim on one side-does that go TOWARD the gearbox, or outward toward the primary cover?

    Yes, the rubbers most certainly do have a specific direction, as they are purposefully shaped differently on all sides.
    But you did not bother to explain what direction to put them.
    Flat side against the blade, curved side against the housing for all rubbers, if anyone is interested.
