Grew up about 3 minutes from Devil's Lake, that pointy rock at the start of the video is a great diving/swimming spot, just to the left of it (when standing on the rock) is a perfect step up rock to get back up out of the water. Nobody is ever swimming there, Rock 8 is almost always packed, that spot is a good alternative.
This video was awesome! My family and I want to plan a camping trip to devils lake. When y’all go out where you keep your pup? We have a dog we want to bring but don’t know how it would work to go out for dinner, etc.
When we have our dog with we don’t really go out. We won’t bring her on these trips if temps are over 75 in case we need to leave her in the car with windows open for 5-10 min. That weekend temps were mild at night, so it worked out! Thanks for watching!
Nice video. Great family. God bless you guys and I hope you stay together to enjoy more memories often.
Thanks much!!
Been going there since 1965. You did a wonderful representation of a place that's special to me. Will be there again in mid September 23.
Awesome to hear the kind words from someone who has been there so many times. It was definitely not our last trip going there! Take care
That’s living brother, you all will have great memories
You cook more and better at camp than most people do at home !Looks like fun . Thanks for the video.
Gotta always eat good!
Another great video, Elmaro is great stuff! Been there quite a few times.
Not a huge wine guy myself but that stuff is good!

Fishing too shallow for trout, I'm guessing.
