I just picked up two echo chainsaws , one is identical to this model which is the reason why I searched for a tutorial on how to replace the primer bulb , this thing has never been serviced , I'm gonna bring it back to life . Thanks for the video
Thanks homie! I have an Echo cs 305 and this was everything I needed to know. It's one trusty old saw, I don't even know how old it is but now I can fix it myself. 🦅🗽🇺🇲🍻
I promise you did. It was like a workshop, I learned how to do it from you and now I just have the information and can teach it to other people. I guess I thought it was going to be a lot more difficult and complex. 🍻
Thanks for the good video. Need to replace mine and that is how I found your video. When I bought my CS341 the guy recommended this saw over the Stihl. Never have done anything to mine but replace the chain every now and then when dull. Very happy with my saw. Again thanks for the nice video..
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for, and my Echo is set up exactly like yours. I wasn't sure if the larger line went down into the housing or not (pita), and no it doesn't, thankfully it has a nipple. We're in the woods on 20 acres in eastern NC, and that draw sounds like you could live next door😅 No really, you seem to have a very honest personality and my family and I wish you well.
Thanks glad the video helped out, lol I was born and raised a West Virginia boy untill my wife and I moved to Ohio 8 years ago, but I have been told I have quite the country twang lol. Thanks and take care!
Good video. I am doing this same job myself and was thinking about posting a video of my own. I searched to see if anyone had posted one and found yours. Don't believe I could do a better job, so thanks for posting. I have had my CS-346 for many years and my only issue has been a fuel line that finally decomposed to the point that the fuel filter fell off in the tank. When that happens, the saw will not run when laying on its side. Thanks again.
Thank you for this very informative video. My CS300 Echo chainsaw need a new purge pump bulb and now I can fix it.
Glad it helped
Good tutorial. Working on a CS-300 that's about 15 years old. Purge pump bulb finally dry rotted. Echo makes a great saw!
And this 4 yo vid keeps on giving! I have the exact same saw and issue. Thanks for this excellent vid (and no background music was another plus)!
Thanks for watching!
