Anytime I listen to this song I feel like I'm living in it, changing my life with every single change of the song. It's so different from what Bombay Bicycle Club does, yet still magnificent.
Really does sound like day dreaming, the muffled sounds of people talking and that eery faded mess of noise in the background. Steadman really is a genius
reminds of radiohead a bit and along with bombay bicycle club they are two of my favourite bands..I would love to hear a Bombay Bicycle Club like this. x
@Herbaholic666 I'd imagine he uses something like Logic pro which you need a mac for and it's quite expensive. You can start of with cheaper software like Reason or maybe Ableton which is for more electronic music. He probably records a lot of his own sounds as well so something like cubase.
Why do you all evoke thom yorke? He's not the only one in radiohead. This is more like Jonny Greenwood. His use of tone, sustain and also the melodical structure is a direct reference to him, and I don't think they should collaborate, this is basically what jonny does. Why put two people together who are doing the same thing?
as far as i know this was written when jack was 13 - 14, it was uploaded to his soundclick in 2004, this song from a 13 year old? incredible

I freaking love this man.
Insane, he captures so much emotion in this.

I want all of these songs.
He has 29 demo tracks like this, search hard enough and you'll find them on this kind of personal music publication website I forgot all about. ENJOY.
This is the ultimate procrastination theme tune.
Ahhhhhhgg stead man you are god
REALLY GOOD SHIT!
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK JACK!
i like it because its really good. Everyone has their own reasons, but your first reason is a bad one.
amazing
This could be a Radiohead song. Him and Thom Yorke need to get collaborating. Immediately.
Jack, please make an album so i can download !
I have no idea who he is, and I love this
He is one of the band Bombay Bicycle Club
@Herbaholic666 he uses an akai mpc2000 (i think) and a cracked version of fruity loops
Jack is a fucking stud.
This reminds me of Beck for some reason o.o
If you guys want a similar flow to this. Check out Bonobo and DJ shadow ... I can hear the inspiration. This is damn awesome. Great use of samples
